Store Manager, Sharjah, UAE

The role

As Store Manager, you will oversee the operations and teams of one of our stores across the UAE. Apart from “just” managing, you will also be directly in touch with customers and living our credo of ‘We don’t sell - we forge relationships’. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Job requirements

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing retail stores within the UAE in luxury, watches, or jewelry;

Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or similar;

Ideally relevant certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers;

Outstanding communication skills in English;

Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.

So a recruiter searching for a candidate with PMP certification, will never find this person, in spite of his 'CV information' existing in the database...

...And, he will wonder why he gets rejected in spite of being a PERFECT MATCH for the Job.
