Finance Business Partner + -

The primary responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

Functional Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance partner to business units, providing financial insights, analysis and
  guidance to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop and monitor financial plans, budgets and
  forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
• Preparation and review of business cases ensuring MEEZA’s profitability guidelines and IFRS
  requirements are met. Track all opportunities through the MEEZA production line ensuring actual performance is aligned with the approved business case. Post Investment Reviews.
• Provide support wherever required and assist the Financial Operations team with accurate
  reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis and performance reviews of business units, identifying trends, risks and opportunities as well as providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
• Provide input for forecast, budget and business plan preparation.
• Monitor actual performance against the forecast/budget targets and share analysis with Manager Financial Reporting to consolidate and present it to management.
• Approve PRs and RPOs and ensure these are aligned with the approved budget or approved
  business case.
• Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment
  decisions and business cases, evaluating potential returns and risks.
• Prepare Total Company, Sales, ITS, BOPs and Support Function monthly performance reports
  including appropriate analysis and commentary on performance vs. budget, month-on-month and
  year-on-year.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards related to assigned
  business areas to track and communicate financial and operational performance, enabling
  effective monitoring and reporting to senior management.
• Support Strategic Alliances and Procurement departments to assist in ensuring the correct
  application of the procurement process and where possible helping the business achieve its cost
  optimization targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales and marketing to understand
  business drivers, assess financial impacts and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures manual and ICOFR requirements.
• Participate in the evaluation and assessment of new business opportunities, including mergers and
  acquisitions, partnerships and strategic investments, providing financial due diligence and
  analysis.
• Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Academic & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
• Accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) required.

Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering or FP&A.

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate
  complex financial data effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting processes, and financial
  reporting standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams,
  build relationships, and provide financial guidance to stakeholders at all levels.
• Financial modeling experience and advanced Excel user.
• High degree of proficiency in MS PowerPoint

JOB SUMMARY

Functions as the property’s strategic financial business leader. The position champions, develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property employees. The position provides the financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing the return on investment. Education and Experience

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 3 years experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area.

OR

• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 1 year experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area.

Engaging in Strategic Planning and Decision Making

• Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities, etc.

• Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.

• Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales.

• Analyzes differences between actual budget wages and forecasted wages for more efficient budget planning.

• Identifies the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

• Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new business plans

• Creates the annual operating budget for the property.

• Provides analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost saving and productivity opportunities for property managers.

• Implements a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks.

• Ensures a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability.

About this role

The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) group manages strategic technology partnerships with Aladdin clients globally. ACE serves as the senior, trusted interface between clients and the Aladdin business, with accountability for value delivery, platform adoption, and long-term commercial outcomes.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role supporting Tier-1 Middle East institutions, including large asset owners and institutional investors. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to client stakeholders, build strong and durable relationships across business and functional teams, and develop a detailed understanding of each institution's priorities, challenges, and evolving needs. Through proactive engagement and consistent follow-through, they will help clients realize measurable value from Aladdin, eFront, and WPS across their Public and Private Markets investment lifecycles.

As part of one of BlackRock's fastest-growing businesses, you will join a team focused on helping institutional investors maximize value from their investment technology ecosystem. The team works closely with clients across investments, risk, operations, technology, and data functions, partnering with product, engineering, transformation, and commercial teams to deliver measurable outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with some of the most sophisticated asset owners and institutional investors in the Middle East while contributing to the growth of the Aladdin business.

Your Role and Impact

You will help manage important elements of the front-to-back client relationship, building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and ensuring client priorities are understood and acted upon across BlackRock. Through a combination of investment lifecycle knowledge, consultative problem solving, and disciplined execution, you will help drive adoption, value realization, and long-term relationship success. You will serve as a critical link between clients and internal teams, translating client objectives into actionable plans and coordinating execution across multiple stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, developing a deep understanding of client objectives, stakeholder dynamics, priorities, risks, and opportunities while ensuring strong relationship health and execution discipline.
• Lead preparation for governance reviews and strategic engagements, using client insights to support platform adoption, renewals, and growth opportunities.
• Drive value delivery across Public and Private Markets by applying a consultative approach, executing adoption initiatives, monitoring progress, and ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with product, engineering, transformation, and support teams to represent client needs, coordinate delivery, and manage risks and escalations effectively.
• Contribute to team excellence through knowledge sharing, best-practice development, and support of junior team members.
• Support regional growth initiatives by representing Aladdin solutions with institutional investors and bringing client and market insights back into the business.

Your Experience

• 6+ years of experience within financial services, financial technology, consulting, or institutional investing, with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
• Knowledge of Public and Private Markets operating models, workflows, data, and technology across the investment lifecycle, with the ability to develop broader front-to-back expertise.
• Demonstrated experience managing client deliverables, projects, or cross-functional workstreams involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across business, technology, and executive audiences.
• High personal accountability, sound judgment, curiosity, and resilience, including proactive risk identification and escalation.
• Familiarity with Aladdin, eFront, WPS, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar investment technology and relationship management platforms.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, FRM, or project management certifications are advantageous; fluency in English is required and Arabic is beneficial.
