Job Description
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman (SKMCA) is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused General Practitioner – Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic Emergency Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency medical care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of emergency presentations while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
Deliver timely and evidence-based emergency medical care in accordance with hospital policies and international clinical guidelines.
Perform emergency procedures within the scope of practice and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Request, interpret, and act upon laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
Collaborate closely with consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Identify patients requiring admission, referral, or transfer and facilitate appropriate clinical management.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely electronic medical records.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
Support departmental objectives by contributing to continuous professional development and education.
Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university.
Completion of a recognized internship program.
Valid UAE Medical License (MOHAP, DHA, or DOH) or eligibility for MOHAP licensure.
Minimum 5 years of post-internship experience in an Emergency Department within an acute care or tertiary healthcare setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory).
ATLS, PALS, or other emergency medicine certifications are an added advantage.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Applicant Tracking System or "ATS", is the software that 'READS' your CV and stores this information in a database. Like this:

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.
