Project Manager, Umm Al Quwain, UAE

Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage factory projects from initiation through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will work closely with production, engineering, procurement, drafting, logistics, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Review project specifications, drawings, contracts, and client requirements.

• Develop project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.

• Monitor project progress and resolve technical or operational issues.

• Allocate manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources efficiently.

• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Supervise the Drafting Department to ensure shop drawings are completed and approved on time.

• Monitor factory production progress and installation activities.

• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.

• Conduct regular project progress meetings with internal teams and clients.

• Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports for management.

• Monitor project budgets and control project costs.

• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate inspections, testing, and project handovers.

• Manage project documentation, variations, and approvals.

• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in manufacturing, steel fabrication, metal works or construction industries.

3. Experience managing factory production and installation projects.

4. Strong leadership and team management skills.

5. Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

7. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Experience with ERP systems (such as Odoo) is an advantage.
