ABOUT THE ROLE

A unique opportunity to join a leading intelligence-led strategy and communications firm. As a mid-level communications professional with extensive experience in implementing integrated communications programmes and campaigns, you will be providing communications strategy, advice, and support to government clients across the MENA region.

LOCATION

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing integrated communications strategies and plans for government ministries, departments, and entities.
Managing mid-sized accounts, including responsibility for structuring the work programme, managing the day-to-day execution of activities, and maintaining the client relationship.
Developing innovative campaigns that deliver results for clients and integrate multiple disciplines, including digital, stakeholder engagement and media relations.
Engaging media on behalf of clients, building media relationships and placing stories.
Providing ad hoc advice to clients on issues and trends, and the implications of these for the client.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Skills

Communications planning and delivery – the ability to execute these functions at the highest level.
Content writing – the ability to generate high-quality written content for print and digital media.
Media relations – the ability to interact with journalists and place stories.
Account management – the ability to manage multiple accounts and workstreams at one time.
Leadership – the ability to develop and mentor staff of different levels.

Leadership – the ability to develop relationships of influence with clients and staff alike
Resilience and stamina – the ability to develop solutions under difficult circumstances and maintain a productive pace and outlook.
Curiosity and a sense of adventure- we love people who naturally want to know more about the world and are happy to not always have all the answers but can help figure them out.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ experience in communications, including working in or consulting to public sector organisations, preferably in the Gulf.
Sector expertise in the economic (Sovereign Wealth Funds, inward investment), culture or tourism spaces is preferred.

The Public Relations/Marketing Manager proactively implements internal and external communications activities such as interacting with the news media, creating news releases and other writing projects, media coverage tracking and reporting, communicating with association leaders, and advancing branding and social media strategies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and deliver all PR activities for company’s platforms including key messages, media relations, content development, briefing documents and newsletters.
Implement PR & Corporate Communications strategy by achieving appropriate publicity and media exposure for the Group and its companies.
Act as a Group representative at public engagements, exhibitions, media interviews, press trips and other relevant opportunities.
To rework, produce and continually update all the marketing collateral.
Ensure that products and services are communicated effectively in the related media sphere.
Periodic press releases are published in newspapers and related online portals.
Management interviews are conducted regularly for construction magazines and publications to keep Tech Group and stakeholders in the media eye.
Manage and increase traffic for all social media platforms including website.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 6 years of experience in Marketing, PR and Communications.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the PR field within UAE.
Must have worked with local media houses.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong relations in media publications and networks.
Ability to take initiative.
Strong copywriting and content writing skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

HOURS / SHIFTS: 8 hours/day
SALARY : Negotiable
