Assistant Director of Sales, RAK, UAE

Job Description
The Assistant Director of Sales supports the Director of Sales in leading the hotel’s day-to-day sales operations across all market segments. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, developing profitable business opportunities, managing key Leisure accounts, and ensuring the Sales team consistently achieves its financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily activities of the Sales team across all assigned market segments.
Support the Director of Sales in implementing departmental standards, strategies, and quality guidelines established by Rixos Regional Sales.
Assume responsibility for the Sales Department in the absence of the Director of Sales.
Lead the department’s financial, administrative, and operational activities under the guidance of the Director of Sales.
Assist in preparing sales reports, annual business plans, revenue forecasts, and departmental expense budgets.
Manage and develop top-producing accounts within the Leisure segment, ensuring agreed revenue targets are achieved.
Identify and secure new business opportunities while developing existing accounts into profitable, long-term partnerships.
Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate sales strategies designed to achieve and exceed forecasted Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue.
Conduct regular sales calls, account reviews, market analysis, and competitor assessments to identify new opportunities.
Personally welcome and manage hotel site inspections in the absence of the Director of Sales.
Train, coach, motivate, and develop Sales team members to improve performance and support career growth.
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, business partners, hotel departments, and regional sales teams.
Ensure all sales activities and documentation comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant operational standards.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel’s emergency procedures and remain prepared to respond appropriately when required.
Participate in task-force assignments and provide Sales support for new hotel openings when requested.
Perform any other reasonable duties or responsibilities assigned by the Director of Sales or Department Head.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales leadership role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred

Strong experience in managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue

 Russian language proficiency is preferred

Promote and sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.

Prepare, arrange, and replenish products on shelves and display areas while maintaining attractive merchandise presentation.

Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, process product returns, and help maintain accurate stock records.

Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained to provide a welcoming environment for customers.

Handle daily sales transactions, assist with cash reconciliation, and prepare basic sales and performance reports.

Work closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations and excellent customer service.

Respond to customer requests promptly and resolve concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Maintain proper product availability by restocking shelves and ensuring displays meet company standards.

Assist with promotional activities, seasonal displays, and product launches to support store sales.

Job Experience Requirements

1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, store operations, or a similar role.

Fresh candidates with good communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Experience in FMCG, fashion, electronics, cosmetics, or other retail industries will be considered an advantage.

Basic knowledge of cash handling, inventory control, merchandising, or point-of-sale systems is preferred.

Job Description

1. Ensuring business strategies are in place in achieving Retail KPIs including sales and cost targets.

2. Ensure that inventory and Days of Stock is maintained at target levels inventory & shrinkage control.

3. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store in compliance with SOPs including but not limited to expiry management, shrinkage control, price update, back-end documents.

4. Ensure availability of store range and promotion stock through RP and manual replenishments.

5. Ensure efficient staff deployment and efficiency of manpower through delegation, supervision, training, roster management, leave planning etc. for smooth store operations.

6. Ensure the store ambiance, cleanliness, merchandise displays, planogram etc. are maintained at expected levels.

7. Analyze reports and implement necessary corrective actions on the floor towards achievement of KPIs which includes but not limited to sales, cost reduction, shrinkage controls, inventory optimization and maintaining availability.

Join our dynamic fitness center as a SALES & FRONT DESK AGENT, where you will be the face of the club, driving memberships and providing exceptional service to our community. Responsibilities
Greet members and visitors, providing information about gym services and programs.
Handle membership sales, renewals, and upselling of packages.
Manage front desk operations, including calls, bookings, and inquiries.
Maintain records of leads, prospects, and follow-up activities.
Support daily administrative functions and cash handling procedures.
Create an engaging, safe, and motivating environment for all clients.

Must have requirements
