What you'll be doing

The purpose of this role is to support the protection of Chalhoub Group’s assets, inventory, people and liabilities through efficient administration of Group insurance arrangements and timely coordination with internal stakeholders, brokers and insurers.

The role helps ensure that coverage remains fit for purpose, cost-conscious, well documented and aligned with multi-country operating requirements. The job holder will support renewals, policy issuance, certificates of insurance, claims follow-up, exposure data collection and contract-review activities, while helping identify uninsured gaps and escalation points across Group operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support annual placement, renewal and endorsement processing for Group insurance policies across retail, warehouse, logistics, office, digital and corporate activities.
• Prepare and validate underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, declarations, statements of values, claims histories and renewal packs for brokers and insurers.
• Maintain a central insurance register covering policies, insurers, brokers, limits, deductibles, premiums, territories, endorsements, certificates and renewal dates.
• Coordinate issuance, renewal and filing of certificates of insurance and ensure that landlord, mall, vendor, logistics partner and other third-party requirements are tracked and met.
• Support the review of insurance clauses in leases, supplier agreements, logistics contracts, marketing or event agreements, fit-out or project documentation and other commercial contracts; escalate non-standard or high-risk requirements.
• Continually monitor core insurance lines such as property damage and business interruption, stock or inventory and transit, marine cargo, public or product liability, employer’s liability or workers’ compensation, cyber, crime or fidelity, D&O support and project-specific covers where applicable.
• Coordinate, oversee & monitor claims from first notification to closure, including document collection, broker and adjuster follow-up, reserve tracking, recovery actions and settlement reporting.
• Liaise with Finance & Treasury on premiums, allocations, accruals and claims recoveries; support periodic reporting on premiums, losses, outstanding claims and renewal actions.
• Partner with Legal & Compliance, People & Culture, Procurement, Retail Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics, Tech and Internal Audit to improve risk transfer, evidence of cover, incident reporting and policy compliance.
• Support insurance requirements for new store openings, refurbishments, pop-ups, warehouses, cross-border stock movements, e-commerce launches and other operational change projects.
• Assist with broker performance reviews, market benchmarking, audits and updates to insurance procedures, templates and controls.
• Track local compulsory insurance requirements and evidence of cover across operating countries, escalating renewal risks, gaps or lapsed policies promptly.

What you’ll need to succeed

· Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, business administration, finance, law or a related field.

• Progress toward or interest in professional qualifications such as CII/ACII, CPCU, ARM or equivalent preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and document-management skills; familiarity with ERP, claims or vendor-management systems is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in corporate insurance, brokerage, underwriting, claims, risk advisory or related insurance operations.
• Experience working with multi-site or multi-country businesses is preferred.
• Prior exposure to retail, distribution, consumer goods, logistics, warehousing or e-commerce risks is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with renewals, policy administration, certificates of insurance, claims handling and broker or insurer coordination.
• GCC or wider Middle East experience is preferred.
• Experience reviewing insurance obligations in commercial contracts and coordinating with legal or procurement teams is an advantage.

Medical Coordination Manager, Jeddah, KSA

We need a Medical Coordination Manager,

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the implementation of Magrabi established policies and procedures within the assigned Branch/Region.
• Interfere with the Insurance Companies to solve and troubleshoot any problem related to patients’ Medical Insurance within the assigned Branch/Region.
• Continuously review the efficiency of each Insurance Company’s response to Magrabi requests for approval and Claims and recommends solutions when needed
• Develop Department Staffing Plan & Departmental Orientation Programs. Guide and Evaluate his/her Staff Performance, identify training needs & recommend training/development plans.
• Ensure that all Out-Patient Credit activities within the assigned Branch/Region are monitored on daily basis.
• Review Contracts and Price-lists to ensure that all have been applied correctly, and report any discrepancy to Contracts Department, Portal and IT for correction, either Internally or with 3rd party payers

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or similar field.
• Minimum three years experiences in medical insurance field.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of Medical Insurance management theories and practices.
• Demonstrable leadership & problem-solving skills and abilities to provide objective directions, guidance and management.
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills (Arabic & English)
• Demonstrable working knowledge of JCI & CBAHI standards.

Description

Medical Officer – Inpatient Precertification is responsible for managing the Inpatient Precertification cases while ensuring that departmental goals, timeline of activities, and compliance measures are met.

 

What you do

•Precertification team is functional on 24/7 basis. Therefore the Medical Officer will be working on flexible shift basis as per the schedule provided by the Team Leader.

•Adjudicates Cases at IP precertification level, authorizes decision within the stipulated turnaround time & with the highest quality standards in view with the policy terms and conditions.

•Performing complete file review with regards to the multidisciplinary notes, TPR charts, physician order’s notes, lab reports, radiology reports, drug chart sheets, consultation notes, nursing notes, progress notes, etc.

•Requesting any medical documentation or finding any missing document which is essential in decision making.

•Performing review of DRG Severity of Illness (SOI) in line with revision of CPT codes / ICD codes, which are being up-coded by the provider – if required discussion with the treating doctor and the medical coders.

•Performing utilization review for DRG cases and FFS cases with regards to and not limited to final bill review + consumables mark ups + non covered item/services + overutilization of services.

•Performing review of claims as per CPT and ICD coding guidelines in line with insurance regulators (DHA,DOH/HAAD,MOH).

•Adhering to the cost containment protocols for medical management cases.

•Referring cases for second opinion when deemed necessary to confirm the best mode of management – also for cost containment to lesser Negotiating factor (NF) facilities within the member’s network or option for home country treatment.

•AI READINESS Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

 

What you bring

•Bachelor’s of Pharmacy / Dentistry / Medicine / Nursing / Physiotherapist / Paramedics

•01-02 years of Medical Practical Experience (reputable insurance provider, broker or a TPA experience a plus) OR Entry Level

•Physically fit to carry out duties.

•Certified Medical Coder [Preferable]

•Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.

•Physically fit to carry out duties.

•Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.

Job Overview:
The Automation Process Lead owns the strategic automation agenda within Health Operations, driving scalable process transformation, governance control, and measurable value creation through digital enablement and AI integration.

What you Do:

• Automation Rate (STP %) •Manual touch reduction•Turnaround Time (TAT) improvement•Cost per transaction optimization•Compliance Quality adherence•Lead end to end automation strategy across Health Operations.•Drive process optimization, efficiency, and compliance.•Enhance automation rate, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve KPIs.•Act as the bridge between Operations, IT, and Digital teams.•Provide clear feedback on queries from Operation.•Provides clients an understanding of any declined medical claims.•Coordinates workflow meet deadlines.•Decision Making Responsibility•Provide Gap analysis and Mapping qualification•Assist the new juniors for the training and provide the feedback•Maintain the updated guidelines for the workflow•Define automation roadmap aligned with business KPIs.•Identify high impact automation opportunities across Claims Approvals.•Establish automation governance and control framework.•Ensure regulatory compliance (DHA, DOH, CBUAE where applicable).•Lead process re engineering prior to automation deployment.•Collaborate with IT on Rules Engine AI based adjudication.•Oversee UAT, validation, and accuracy monitoring.•Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
