Laboratory Technician, RAK, UAE

Position Description

The RD laboratory Technician carries out the experiments designed by Laboratory manager to develop or match the colors requested by sales teams.

Technician also maintains the shade panel library and ensures availability of color panels so that panels requests by the customers/ sales executives are timely fulfilled.

Reporting lines 

- Functional Guidance: Laboratory Manager and QC Leader, Powder Coating, UAE.

- Administrative/Legal Entity: Business Director, General Industrial TMEA.

Main Responsibilities

- To carry out various experiments like color matching, product improvement, RM evaluation or cost optimization.

- Prepare powder samples for customer line trials.

- Maintain Lab equipment up and working as well as laboratory area nit and clean

- Maintain panel library ensuring sending panels to customers or sales representatives in timely manner.

- Responsible for providing sample panels as and when requested by sales.

Standard Operating procedure

- Able understand others’ perspectives, and support team wherever required.

- Able to plan and execute experiments using laboratory resources to accomplish specific goals.

- Able to work with different equipment and ensure safety rules are followed.

· Written and spoken English.

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.

So a recruiter searching for a candidate with PMP certification, will never find this person, in spite of his 'CV information' existing in the database...

...And, he will wonder why he gets rejected in spite of being a PERFECT MATCH for the Job.
