Job Description

Business Analyst will be responsible to prepare and define the business scope for new projects and programs under Technology and Trade Solutions division of Noatum Ports.  Will help guide businesses in improving processes, products, services, and software.

Business Analyst will take a lead in covering the full cycle from process analysis, benchmarking, process reengineering, requirements analysis and design, while coordinating with other departments such as Stakeholder Management, Operations and Digitalization. The preferred candidate will also be responsible of identifying gaps in existing processes/solution, handling Change Management processes to ensure services/solution are up to date and the best practices are adopted.

Responsibilities

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Director Product Development and the Product Owner, works on the planning processes associated with the implementation of projects or business improvements.

Collaborates with the Project Manager, the Business Partner, Systems Analysts, Quality Analysts and Systems Support Analysts to develop business cases, high level plans and project closure documents. Participates in meetings as required to support the Business Partners in the communication and promotion of services and products.

Keeps informed of key initiatives, proposals, and requirements of each client group Executes the initiatives identified in the vision and strategy.

Participates in user story development and prioritization with Product Owner and Scrum Team Conducts specific business analysis activities to support the Development Team.

Fine-tunes content of user stories to support Development team.

Develops functional test cases and supports testing efforts of Development Team.

Provides advice on best practice around business process design and improvement.

Analyses and designs business processes based on business needs with the stakeholders. Prepares documents such as business process diagrams, flowcharts, requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, etc. and reviews with stakeholders.

Translates technical issues into plain language that stakeholders understand.

Facilitates workshops and training sessions with business users.

Participates in development of system documentation and training materials.

Provides technical advice on the industry standards, design, usage, functionality, behavior, and user interface specifications and configuration parameters related to supported or proposed technologies and services to fit business needs.

Collaborates with the Scrum Team and stakeholders to translate business needs into system improvements, and shares feedback on Product Increments.

Qualifications

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the transport, ports and/or logistics industry.

Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business.

Experience with B2BI digital products.

Understanding key players and products in the digital ecosystem for Trade and Services.

Ability to bridge the gap between a customer's business needs and technical solutions.

Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, and removing blockers.

Experience leading teams in an agile setting; has worked with cross functional digital teams.

Knowledge of digital delivery instruments “T” shaped knowledge – development, testing, customer development, UX/UI with practical knowledge across 1-2 product development areas.

Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor.

Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress.

Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. 

Not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside of the comfort zone to explore – pushes squad to do the same.

Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change.

Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and are able to present effectively to Executive levels within a customer’s organization.

Experience in enterprise projects with a strong working knowledge of development methodologies, frameworks, and technologies.

Ability to bridge the gap between a customer's business needs and technical solutions.

CBAP Certification is preferred.

Problem-solver with skills in risk management and prioritization.

We need a Chief Officer,

Job Summary and Purpose

The Chief Officer is the Master's deputy and hence his Second-in-Command. He understudies the Master in all aspects of his managerial, professional and commercial duties with a view to qualifying him for eventual command. He is responsible to the Master for the overall care and carriage of the Cargo, in particular during cargo operations. He is responsible for the overall planning of all cargo procedures.

He must keep a navigational watch. However, where a ship may carry an extra navigating officer, his watch keeping may be reduced, but not normally eliminated, (exception may be made to allow the navigating officer to undertake a period of day work), at the discretion of the Master.

Accountabilities

• Shipboard security in the role of the Ship Security Officer (SSO) as required by the ISPS Code
• (Together with the Chief Engineer) the safe working practices of all personnel
• Cargo custody, handling and documentation
• The preparation of cargo systems for the carriage of cargo and refit requirements
• Ballast custody and handling as the Designated Ballast Management Officer
• Stability, safe draughts and trim
• Preparation of safe and suitable loading/discharging plans using the loading computer, to ensure that at no time do cargo/ballast operations exceed safe stresses and that the vessel always sails complying with damage stability criteria
• Maintenance and testing of deck portable fire-fighting equipment and lifesaving appliances
• Anti-pollution measures
• Deck maintenance under the Chief Engineer Officer
• He oversees the medical locker and is responsible to the Master for first aid and medical treatment
• He has overall responsibility to the Master for the vessel’s seaworthiness and security with regard to proceeding to sea
• Maintaining the Deck Information Book and all related records
• Ensure that all deck officers are fully conversant with safe operational practices and are made fully aware of the correct methods and practices of ballasting, use of cargo pumps, valves etc. This is especially important with respect to the Second Officer who shall be able to take over the Chief Officers duties at any time
• Cargo Watch at Loading and Discharge ports
• Maintain regular checks on fixed and portable gas detection apparatus
• Ensure all cargo/ballast/inerting valves are operational and turned on a regular basis
• Responsible for the inspection of void spaces
• The training of Deck and Marine Cadets and monitoring their progress
• The Chief Officer must carry out any lawful command and delegated duty as issued by the Master.
• The Chief Officer shall ensure that the other deck officers assist and understudy him as an essential part of their training and development.
• The Chief Officer is the designated Ballast Water Management Officer.
• He is also responsible for the proper performance of duty, including job allocation, of the other navigating officers and cadets, other than in navigational matters for which they are directly responsible to the Master.
• He is further responsible for the supervision of the C.P.O./Bosun and ratings when assigned to deck tasks, and also the supervision of all ratings when engaged in tank cleaning, cargo or ballast handling.
• Under the requirements of Annex V of Marpol the Chief Officer will act as the designated Environmental Waste Control Officer. Refer to NSQL Environmental Aspects and Impacts register
• While he retains overall responsibility for all aspects of cargo handling care, he will hand over operational control of the cargo and the responsibility of the deck watch to the Officer of the Watch (OOW) during off duty periods whilst the vessel is in port.
• While he retains overall responsibility for all aspects of cargo handling care, he will hand over operational control of the cargo systems to the Cargo/Gas Engineer and keep him/her fully informed of all relevant aspects of operations during sea passages and when engaged in navigational duties during port entry and departure.,
• The handover between the Cargo/Gas Engineer and the Chief Officer shall be a formal procedure to avoid any ambiguity over who is in operational control and is to be recorded so in the deck operations log.
• Undertake regular security inspections of the ship
• Maintains and supervises the implementation of the Shipboard Security Plan (SSP), including any amendments

Accountabilities - 2

• Co-ordinating the security aspects of the handling of cargo and ships stores with other ships crew and the PFSO
• Proposing modifications to the SSP
• Reporting deficiencies and Non-conformities identified during internal audits, reviews, security inspections and verifications of compliance and implementing any corrective actions
• Enhancing security awareness and vigilance onboard
• Ensuring that adequate training has been provided to crew members
• Reporting and recording all security incidents
• Co-ordinating implementation of the SSP with the Company Safety Officer (CSO) and the relevant PFSO
• Ensuring that security equipment is properly operated, tested, calibrated, and maintained
• Completion of the ship security log recording all incidents that occur and are investigated
• Conduct Annual review of the Ship Security Plan, highlighting any recommendations to the CSO

We are hiring a Logistics Manager is responsible with a strong background in the oil and gas industry, responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, transportation, and material management to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage logistics operations, including transportation and inventory control

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project teams

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

Manage import/export documentation and customs clearance

Monitor logistics performance and resolve operational issues

Qualification Required.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 20+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

We need a Manager Purchasing

Brief Job Description:

The Purchasing manager is part of the Materials Management team, reporting solid line to the Materials and Manufacturing Planning Manager.

He/She oversees our day-to-day purchasing operations. Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing a team of buyers, coordinating purchasing activities, resolving exceptions, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services while focusing on Inventory optimization.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

(This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.)

• Lead and manage the tactical purchasing team to ensure efficient and effective execution of purchasing activities.
• Develop and implement tactical purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.
• Coordinate the creation and management of purchase orders within the Oracle ERP/Cyberplan system, including monitoring PO status and resolving exceptions.
• Analyze inventory turnover rates, carrying costs, and stock-out rates to identify opportunities for inventory optimization.
• Implement inventory management strategies such as ABC analysis, cycle counting, and safety stock management to optimize inventory levels.
• Evaluate alternative sourcing options and supplier lead times to optimize inventory replenishment processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, inventory management, and finance, to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with business objectives.
• Analyze purchasing data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the purchasing team to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent management process (selection, development, and career path).
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and analysis to senior management to communicate purchasing performance and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure communication of vision and strategy for his area of responsibility above and below within the organization.

Qualifications:

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in Purchasing

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Oracle architecture and planning tools (Cyberplan)
• Good knowledge of standard software tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• English –fluent level – written and spoken
• A high level of motivation combined with leadership abilities is required
• Availability to travel and working time flexibility, in an international environment.
• Competences: result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible.
