We need a Store Manager

Job Description

Ensuring business strategies are in place in achieving Retail KPIs including sales and cost targets

Ensure that inventory and Days of Stock (DOS) is maintained at target levels inventory & shrinkage control

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store in compliance with SOPs including but not limited to expiry management, shrinkage control, price update, back-end documents

Ensure availability of store range and promotion stock through RP and manual replenishments

Ensure efficient staff deployment and efficiency of manpower through delegation, supervision, training, roster management, leave planning etc. for smooth store operations

Ensure the store ambiance, cleanliness, merchandise displays, planogram etc. are maintained at expected levels

Analyze reports and implement necessary corrective actions on the floor towards achievement of KPIs which includes but not limited to sales, cost reduction, shrinkage controls, inventory optimization and maintaining availability.

Derive and strategize processes for efficient store operations in line with departmental priorities

a) Safety Responsibilities:

Taking reasonable care of own safety, the safety of coworkers, customers, vendors and visitors.
Learning to work safely and adhering in all circumstances to company safety rules and requirements.
Wearing all required personal protective equipment.
Reporting all accidents, injuries, illnesses, any near misses, unsafe actions and conditions which causes or may cause an injury or damage to supervisor immediately.
Avoiding acts or omissions which may cause unsafe situations.
Attending training and awareness sessions provided by the company to carry out tasks competently and safely.
Contributing to promote safety culture in the workplace.
Being an advocate for health and safety by aligning new hires and vendors on safe work practices and lead by example.

b) Environment Responsibilities:

Engage in environmentally conscious practices such as waste segregation, energy & water conservation, while collaborating on initiatives that advance our sustainability goals.
Participate in training or workshops on sustainability practices and stay informed about environmental issues.
Report any practices, environmental hazards or violations within the organization that may adversely affect the environment.
Support and promote a culture of sustainability by educating new hires, subcontractors and visitors on the company’s environment policy and lead by example.

Role Overview

As a Sales Capture Associate Director within Accenture’s Products Client Group, you will drive growth by originating, shaping, and closing large-scale transformation deals across retail, consumer goods, airlines, and travel industries in Qatar and the wider Middle East.

You will leverage deep sector expertise to help clients respond to evolving consumer expectations, digital disruption, and operational transformation—positioning Accenture as a partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Origination & Deal Closure

Originate, qualify, and close complex, multi-million-dollar deals across retail, FMCG, and aviation sectors
Lead full sales lifecycle: opportunity shaping, deal strategy, proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation
Develop differentiated value propositions addressing key client priorities such as:
- Omnichannel transformation
- Customer experience & personalization
- Supply chain resilience
- Data, AI and digital commerce

Client Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with C-level stakeholders across major Products clients (retailers, airlines, distributors, and consumer brands)
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders
Navigate procurement and decision-making structures across regional and multinational organizations

Industry & Market Leadership

Demonstrate understanding of the Middle East Products landscape, including:
- Retail market dynamics and digital commerce trends
- Airline industry transformation (customer experience, operations optimization)
- FMCG go-to-market strategies and distribution models
Identify emerging opportunities and convert them into sales pipeline

Deal Shaping & Integrated Solutioning

Collaborate across Accenture offerings (Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations) to design end-to-end solutions
Bring together capabilities across digital commerce, ERP (SAP), cloud, AI, and supply chain
Ensure alignment between client strategy, business value, and Accenture capabilities

Internal Leadership & Governance

Lead cross-functional pursuit teams and mentor junior sales professionals
Collaborate with account leadership to drive account growth and pipeline maturity
Ensure adherence to Accenture’s sales governance, pricing, and compliance processes

Experience

12+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or consulting-led sales
Proven track record closing large, complex deals in Retail, FMCG, Airlines, or Travel industries
Experience in consulting, SI, or technology services organization strongly preferred

Industry Expertise

Strong understanding of one or more of the following:
- Retail (store ops, ecommerce, customer experience)
- Consumer Goods (distribution, trade promotion, supply chain)
- Aviation / Travel (passenger experience, operations, loyalty, digital platforms)
Familiarity with regional market players and dynamics in Qatar/GCC

Sales & Commercial Capabilities

Expertise in deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation
Experience managing large RFPs and strategic pursuits
Ability to articulate value-driven transformation narratives to executive stakeholders

Leadership & Collaboration

Strong leadership presence with ability to mobilize diverse, cross-border teams
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, fast-paced environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or equivalent preferred

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

Philip Morris Kuwait is looking for a Trade Development Executive to join the team. As a Trade Development Executive, you will be part of the Commercial Operations team, reporting to the Territory Supervisor.

The Territory Executive role is responsible for driving in-market execution across a defined territory by ensuring strong retail presence, excellent merchandising standards, and effective distributor collaboration to achieve commercial objectives.

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

Territory & Field Execution

Manage a defined territory covering multiple retail outlets, with a focus on high-priority locations
Execute route plans through regular visits to assigned stores
Ensure strong presence and consistent performance across all assigned outlets

Retail & Distributor Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors
Secure visibility agreements and in-store execution opportunities
Conduct periodic visits to distributor locations to support execution and identify growth opportunities

In-Market Execution & Merchandising Excellence

Ensure full compliance with planograms and merchandising standards
Monitor stock levels, product availability, and overall merchandising quality in outlets
Drive high-quality execution across all points of sale

Opportunity Identification & Expansion

Identify opportunities for product placement, visibility, and expansion in key outlets
Focus on growth within high-weighted and priority locations

Team Oversight

Lead and oversee merchandisers within the territory (dotted-line management)
Provide guidance to ensure consistent execution standards across the market

Data Analysis & Performance Tracking

Collect distributor and market data on a regular basis
Analyze performance and generate structured reports and visual insights
Use data-driven insights to inform actions and improve market execution

Performance Review & Stakeholder Alignment

Participate in bi-weekly market visits with the Head of Department
Review territory performance and align on priorities and next steps

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in field sales, FMCG, trade marketing, or a similar commercial role
Experience in FMCG, retail, or distributor-led environments is preferred
Fluent in English (written & spoken), Arabic is an advantage
Candidate MUST have a valid Kuwait transferable residency and Kuwait driving license
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to analyze data and turn insights into clear reports and presentations
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
