Job purpose

The Job Controller ensures accurate job card costings, verifies parts and labor charges, and prepares invoices for internal, insurance, and customer jobs They monitor pending job cards, report discrepancies, and coordinate with estimators and workshop teams to maintain accurate pricing and timely invoicing, ensuring smooth financial operations

Job responsibilities

Ensure appropriate Job Flat Rate Time availability for all given job
Update the job status of the repair in the system
Plan and execute O/T schedule with Foreman’s feedback and getting approval from the Manager
Perform smooth coordination with all stakeholders
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower/facilities

Educational Qualification

Graduate/3 years Diploma in Automobile /Mechanical Eng

Work Experience

3 years in similar post or 5 years workshop floor experience

Languages

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

We need a Workshop Coordinator

We are looking for a Workshop Coordinator to manage the end-to-end coordination of vehicle repairs and preparation, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners.

This role is ideal for an organized and proactive professional with a background in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will oversee workshop schedules, manage supplier communications, and optimize vehicle readiness timelines to support showroom operations. If you're detail-driven and thrive in a fast-paced, process-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Vehicle Coordination & Workshop Management

Coordinate vehicle repairs and preparation with partner workshops, ensuring adherence to quality standards and turnaround targets.
Arrange vehicle pick-up and drop-off between showroom and workshops, working closely with recovery teams.
Monitor all repair and maintenance timelines and resolve any delays or workflow issues.
Liaise with the sales team to address any last-minute vehicle needs before handover.

Parts Procurement & Process Optimization

Manage the sourcing and timely delivery of vehicle parts by coordinating with suppliers.
Maintain accurate records using internal tracking systems and software.
Identify opportunities to streamline workshop processes and reduce lead times.
Ensure all vehicles are prepared efficiently and meet showroom readiness criteria.

Requirements

Proven experience in the automotive industry (workshop, logistics, or coordination roles preferred).
Strong computer skills and familiarity with workflow tracking systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to coordinate effectively across departments and with external partners.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: 3,000 – 4,000 AED (based on experience and qualifications)

Work Visa sponsorship

30 days of paid annual leave

Overview of the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused PDI Foreman to join our Service team in KSA. The role serves as the key point of coordination between Sales, Service Operations, Administration, OEM representatives, and customers to ensure vehicles are inspected, prepared, documented, and delivered according to company and manufacturer standards.
The successful candidate will oversee Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities, manage vehicle readiness, coordinate issue resolution, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately to support a seamless customer delivery experience.

What You Will Do

Manage and oversee Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities for commercial vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are prepared and delivered in line with company and OEM standards.
Monitor and control PDI job cards, system updates, parts tracking, and timely closure of work orders.
Identify, document, and coordinate the resolution of vehicle abnormalities before customer delivery.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, Administration, and OEM teams to ensure vehicle delivery readiness.
Maintain accurate arrival inspection reports, PDI records, and delivery documentation.
Track vehicle delivery status and provide daily operational reports to management.
Follow up on registration requirements, pending actions, and undelivered vehicles to support efficient delivery planning.
Support customer satisfaction by minimizing rework, repeat repairs, and delivery-related issues.

Required Skills to Be Successful

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of technical experience, preferably within Buses and Commercial Vehicles.
Proven experience in vehicle inspection, service operations, workshop processes, or delivery management.
Technical expertise in diesel engines, powertrain systems, driveline components, electrical systems, air conditioning, and spare parts.

You will be part of a dynamic Service team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. The team works closely with Sales, Administration, OEM partners, and customers to ensure every vehicle is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Together, we strive to maintain industry-leading service levels while supporting the continued growth of our commercial vehicle business.
