Job Summary/Purpose

Job Summary/Purpose:Manage a team of sales professionals in order to promote product sales, achieve sales targets, turnover, profit and market share growth and customer satisfaction index.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic:

1. Prepare annual sales plans and budgets to meet the business unit/department strategic planning requirements for Managements review.

2. Monitor actual sales performance against budgeted figures and take corrective measures as appropriate.

3. Recommend annual marketing and sales strategy, such as pricing, stock levels, product mix.

Operational:

1. Assign performance targets in terms of sales revenue, customer satisfaction index (CSI), product category and geographical area based on such factors as stock movement, sales history and forecasts, sales budgets, product mix.

2. Contribute to the development and implementation of incentive schemes in order to boost sales, increase profits and push slow moving items.

3. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing plans, such as product launch events, promotions, advertising campaigns, to help develop sales and market share.

4. Ensure the product development and promotional plans are understood and implemented at all levels to give the optimum level of impact.

5. Recommend the ordering schedule for different models and their variants after consultation with key sales staff, and considering such factors as sales forecasts, stock levels, product movement history.

6. Organize showroom layout, facilities such as parking space, and product display in order to attract customers and smooth the showroom traffic.

7. Ensure customer prospecting database is constantly updated and maintained.

8. Attend to and resolve escalated customer complaints and represent the business unit at senior level within the customer base to ensure its image is maintained and enhanced, develop customer base and generate business.

9. Monitor changes in the market situation and legislative requirements, competition, customer feedback, report to management and recommend or implement action to meet changing circumstances as required.

10. Monitor and report on sales activities and performance and take corrective measures as necessary.

11. Monitor the Vehicle Delivery Schedule in order to ensure that the vehicles are delivered in time.

12. Ensure safety of showroom as per TMC standards and local Kuwait regulations.

People Management:

1. Identify, set and agree on KPIs and objectives.

2. Prepare performance planning (PP), conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.

3. Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.

4. Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.

5. Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Group policies and procedures.

Job Purpose

To manage inventory levels, parts procurement, and supplier coordination to ensure optimal stock availability, cost efficiency, and smooth operations across all outlets. The role is responsible for aligning procurement and inventory with sales forecasts, market demand, and operational needs.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor and control parts inventory across all warehouses and branches.
Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Analyze fast-moving and slow-moving parts to improve turnover and reduce holding costs.
Coordinate inter-branch transfers based on demand and stock status.
Conduct periodic and annual stock counts with accuracy and compliance
Plan and execute procurement of parts based on sales forecasts, OEM targets, and customer demand.
Issue purchase orders to suppliers (local & international), ensuring on-time delivery.
Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for best pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
Track shipment schedules, customs clearance (if applicable), and logistics coordination.
Maintain strong relationships with OEMs and local vendors.
Evaluate vendor performance based on delivery, quality, cost, and service.
Ensure adherence to procurement contracts and resolve supplier issues promptly
Coordinate with the pricing team to maintain competitive and profitable part prices.
Support cost-reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing, supplier consolidation, or volume discounts.
Monitor procurement spending and align with budget constraints.
Ensure proper use of inventory and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dealer Management System).
Maintain data accuracy related to stock levels, order status, and lead times.
Prepare reports on inventory health, procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and financial exposure.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and procurement efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company procurement policies.
Minimize risks related to excess inventory, obsolete stock, and supplier dependency.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

8–12 years of experience in inventory control and procurement, preferably in the automotive or spare parts industry.
Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management tools.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of international sourcing, import regulations, and vendor management.
