We need a Video Editor and Motion Designer

About ARK47 Studio

ARK47 Studio is a Saudi AI app, available on the App Store and Google Play, that builds business systems from a plain-language description: for example HR, bookings, an online store or a sales board. It drafts a plan with the business owner first, then builds the screens, data and access permissions. We are a Riyadh team bringing it to businesses in the Kingdom and beyond.

What you will do

  • Edit short videos for social media and the app stores from screen recordings and filmed footage of ARK47 Studio.
  • Make simple motion graphics, titles and subtitles in Arabic and English.
  • Prepare each video in the sizes each platform needs.
  • Keep the library of footage, music licences and brand assets in order.
  • Plan what to make next, based on each video’s results.

What we need

  • Minimum qualification: a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Based in Riyadh, or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
  • 2+ years editing short-form video; a portfolio is required.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
  • Arabic and English, spoken and written.

Pay and terms

  • Total monthly salary SAR 10,000–14,000 (basic salary plus allowances), depending on experience.
  • Full-time, on-site at our Riyadh office; working days, hours and annual leave per the Saudi Labour Law.
  • Health insurance and GOSI registration as required by Saudi law.
  • Employer: Apex Operations Company. Work location: Riyadh.

  • We aim to reply to every application within 7 days.
  • A 30-minute video call about the role and ARK47 Studio, in which we hear your view of the app and your questions.
  • For shortlisted candidates, a 30-minute video-planning exercise using ARK47 Studio on a test account we provide.
  • Final interview in Riyadh. We inform every interviewed candidate of the result within 30 days of their interview.

The project:

Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities and introducing robust knowledge-transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the post contract design management and coordination of complex projects across multiple disciplines and asset types.
• Manage the contractor-led design process, including detailed design completion, specialist subcontractor design, shop drawings, material submittals, samples and method-related design inputs.
• Lead the review and resolution of RFIs, technical queries, site instructions, design clarifications and field-change requests within agreed response periods.
• Establish and maintain design governance processes, design review procedures, and approval workflows.
• Oversee design assurance and compliance reviews against employer requirements, authority conditions, relevant codes, international standards and venue operational requirements.
• Lead technical reviews and design assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely with project management, commercial, procurement, construction, and stakeholder teams.
• Manage design-related risks, opportunities, and change management processes.
• Oversee value engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent and quality standards.
• Manage design interfaces with contractors, specialist subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring technical submittals and design information are coordinated with procurement and construction requirements.
• Provide senior-level reporting and presentations to executive stakeholders.
• Drive innovation, best practice, and continuous improvement across the design management function.
• Work closely with site teams to resolve buildability, sequencing, installation and multidisciplinary interface issues affecting construction progress.
• Oversee the review and close-out of as-built drawings, design changes, technical documentation and handover requirements.

You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, urban design, construction management, or related discipline.
• Professional membership with a recognised institution (RIBA, RICS, ICE, CIOB, PMI, or equivalent).
• Typically 15+ years of experience in design management, project delivery, or programme management.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on major complex developments.
• Experience working on large-scale sports and stadium developments, including venues designed to meet FIFA standards.
• Strong knowledge of design management processes, design governance, and stage-gate reviews.
• Proven experience managing international design consultants and stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and the relationship between design and delivery.
• Experience working within complex client-side, PMC, or programme environments.

Role Purpose:

The Design Manager will manage the architectural design delivery of assigned projects within ARADA’s KSA portfolio, overseeing projects from concept development through detailed design, IFC documentation, and construction support.

The role will act as the key design custodian, ensuring that design intent, quality standards, commercial objectives, programmed requirements, and development strategies are successfully integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with Development, Project Management, Commercial, Construction, and external design consultants, the role will provide strong design governance, technical leadership, and stakeholder coordination to deliver high-quality developments aligned with ARADA’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design management from concept, detailed design, tendering, IFC, and construction stages.

  • Manage and guide local and international consultants, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

  • Coordinate architecture with structural, MEP, infrastructure, landscape, and interior design disciplines.

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Codes, local authority regulations, sustainability, accessibility, and Fire & Life Safety requirements.

  • Drive design excellence through technical reviews, value engineering, quality assurance, and design optimization.

  • Collaborate with Development, Commercial, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams to balance design, cost, and programme objectives.

  • Support consultant and contractor procurement, RFP evaluations, and tender reviews.

  • Provide technical leadership during construction, reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, and site-related design challenges.

  • Establish and improve design management processes, governance frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Design coordination: integrating architecture with engineering, infrastructure, landscape and interiors.

  • Communication: clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, consultants and authorities.

  • Stakeholder management: managing expectations across Development, Commercial, Projects, Procurement and external parties.

  • Problem solving: resolving technical and coordination issues pragmatically and quickly.

  • Decision making: sound, timely design and technical decisions balancing quality, cost and programme.

  • Time management: managing multiple design packages and deadlines concurrently.

  • Commercial awareness: understanding cost, value and return implications of design decisions.

  • Negotiation: negotiating scope, fees and technical positions with consultants and contractors.

  • Team collaboration: working effectively within multidisciplinary, developer-led teams.

  • Report writing and presentation: preparing clear design reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership.

  • Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week.

Experience & Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in architectural design management, preferably within a leading developer, master developer, or international consultancy environment.

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale mixed-use, residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, lifestyle and master-planned developments.

  • Strong experience managing architectural consultants through all project stages from concept to construction delivery.

  • Previous experience working in the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Saudi development regulations, authority approvals, permitting processes, and local design requirements, including the Saudi Building Code.

  • Experience working with international design consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.

  • Strong understanding of BIM processes, coordination workflows, and digital design delivery.

  • Proficiency in design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related architectural tools.

  • Commercially aware with the ability to manage design decisions against cost, programme, and delivery objectives.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced developer-led environment.

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.
