Credit Analyst, Sharjah, UAE

Role purpose:

Provide full support to branches and DSU’s by reviewing and processing proposed finance applications in a timely fashion and within approved polices 

This position is for UAE Nationals only.

    

Key accountabilities of the role:  

Examining credit Application for completeness and timeliness of information, noting exceptions for correction.

Preparation of error free credit docs

Vigilance in applying de-dupes

Observing agreed TAT.

 Compliance policies and satisfactory Risk Rating.

Analyze Bank Statements so as assess its genuineness, continuity, business turnovers, cheque returns, average balances and to observe if there is any chance of artificial fabrication of such statements.

Analyze applicant’s financial statements and comment on its findings (where required).

 Check customer’s status through de-dupes/CBRB.

Meeting the minimum daily targets assigned by management while maintaining the lowest level of errors as measured by the score card. 

Escalate cases requiring higher DP with full analysis and recommendations to facilitate their decision making 

Demonstrate full and up to date knowledge of ADIB’s products, policies and procedures. 

Proactively and continually make and recommend system changes and enhancements, also ensure that all procedures and policies are implemented and being followed in compliance with organization.

Demonstrate full team spirit and positive attitude.

Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by ADIB Management from time to time and any other task assigned by Management

 

Results required:

Support business in achieving monthly budget & targets while maintaining highest quality portfolio

Additional support to business in capturing customers within the acceptable parameters without violating CB regulations. 

Contribute positively to the daily underwriting activities 

Improve communication branches and DSU’s as being internal customers

Provide constructive comments and feedback on proposed finance applications 

Compliance of policies & procedures – Comply and perform Key operational controls as required in ADIB’s polices & procedures in day-to-day operations.

 

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:

Good credit and analytical skills and knowledge 

Minimum 3 years of practical banking experience preferably in the finance & credit field 

Detailed knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Banking credit products & services

Broad knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Credit & Operational Policies & Procedures

Good Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks

Good communication skills

Good Computer Skills

Position Summary

 Job Purpose

The Technical Analyst – Applications will support, maintain, and enhance HCT’s enterprise applications and digital platforms. The role will ensure system stability, performance, security, and effective integration across academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support for HCT’s enterprise applications.

* Troubleshoot incidents, system errors, performance issues, and integration failures.

* Conduct root cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.

* Support application upgrades, enhancements, testing, releases, and deployments.

* Work with business users, vendors, developers, database teams, and cloud teams.

* Support integrations between SIS, LMS, ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, and reporting systems.

* Prepare technical specifications, support documents, interface documents, and operational procedures.

* Ensure compliance with HCT’s security, governance, and access management requirements.

* Contribute to application improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Technical Skills

* Enterprise application support, troubleshooting, incident management, and change management.

* Working knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular, and React.

* Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and SQL development.

* Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, middleware, MuleSoft, Apigee, or Azure API Management.

* Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

* Understanding of application security, authentication, authorisation, encryption, and access management.

Core Competencies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team collaboration skills.

* Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple technical issues.

Preferred Certifications

* Higher education, government, or public-sector experience is preferred.

Job Purpose

The Banner DBA is responsible for the administration, maintenance, performance, security, and availability of the Ellucian Banner Student Information System and its supporting database environments.

The role manages the installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, monitoring, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and security of Banner and associated Oracle and SQL Server databases. It also supports integrations, access management, disaster recovery, and system availability to ensure the reliable operation of critical institutional applications.

Key Responsibilities

* Administer and maintain the Ellucian Banner Student Information System and its supporting database environments.

* Manage Banner installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and ongoing system maintenance.

* Administer Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases and support other database platforms where required.

* Monitor database performance and implement improvements through indexing, query optimization, and resource allocation.

* Develop, review, and optimize SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and database objects.

* Manage database backup, restoration, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

* Support Banner access management, Ethos Identity Services, ORDS APIs, and integration with other institutional systems.

* Manage database replication, clustering, high-availability solutions, and failover arrangements.

* Support database modelling, schema design, and data integrity requirements.

* Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.

* Support databases hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.

* Investigate and resolve Banner, database, integration, and performance-related issues.

* Maintain technical documentation, configurations, procedures, and operational records.

* Ensure compliance with institutional information security, data governance, and change-management standards.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Database Administration, or a related discipline.

Overview of The Role:

The Branch Accountant is responsible for providing specialized financial support to the Toyota and Lexus dealership encompassing showroom, service, and spare parts departments. 

The role demands meticulous recording, monitoring, and reporting of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. 

As a critical link between the finance business partner and branch operations, the Branch Accountant ensures financial integrity across all dealership activities.

 

What You Will Do:

Invoicing & Delivery Management

•    Ensure relevant conditions and pricing are maintained in the order before invoicing.

•    Coordinate with the credit control team for credit customer deals.

•    Verify documentation as per SOP before proceeding with deals and issue invoices timely.

•    Maintain relevant AFM documentation for timely payment receipt.

•    Issue gate passes per AFM guidelines.

•    Follow procedures for billing cancellations according to SOP.

•    Archive sales invoices, cancellations, and gate passes.

•    Arrange documents and supporting evidence for audits.

 

Revenue & Petty Cash Management

•    Verify and post bank transfers against respective invoices in SAP.

•    Monitor petty cash float and review pending claims for submission.

•    Oversee insurance limits of cash/collection in vault with cashier, ensure insurance coverage if limits are exceeded.

•    Ensure timely cash desk collections deposit by cashiers in SCDM.

•    Properly sign and file collection/PCF verification and handover for future reference.

•    Monitor cheque clearance, bouncing cheques, and refund cheques.

•    Adhere to AFM company policy regarding customer refunds and maintain logs.

•    Perform surprise cash counts as per SOP.

 

Financial Reporting, Cost & Internal Controls

•    Conduct finance-related processes complying with AFM policies & procedures.

•    Support monitoring of Opex & Capex.

•    Ensure strict adherence of AFM documents to SOPs.

•    Monitor clearance of Open POs and follow-up with stakeholders for timely processing.

•    Report and clear cash invoices not collected regularly.

•    Execute ad hoc tasks/reports requested by FBP/FM/Branch Management.

•    Effectively control costs and escalate abnormalities.

•    Ensure timely processing of Open POs.

•    Deliver assigned tasks on time.

 

Accounts Receivables Management

•    Review and ensure timely submission of second sets.

•    Monitor branch AR reports daily, weekly, and monthly, and follow-up for outstanding/overdue invoice collection.

•    Maintain list of credit facilities to branch credit customers including credit limits, periods, and details.

•    Ensure timely collection of credit customer payments.

•    Ensure proper documentation and credit limits for credit customers.

 

Policy, Procedures and Internal Audit recommendations

•    Facilitate group internal audit review of branch operations and implement audit recommendations.

•    Identify and escalate process gaps and improvement opportunities to the line manager.

•    Highlight suspicious transactions/deals to management.

•    Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation as per internal audit standards.

 

Required Skills To Be Successful:

•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•    Proficiency in using finance and accounting software, particularly ERP systems.

•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•    Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 

What Qualifies You For The Role:

•    Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar qualification.

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in branch accounting, preferably within an automotive dealership.

•    Proficient team player with strong communication and coordination skills.

•    Experience and exposure to ERP systems.
