Job Summary

As a Compliance Intern, you will serve as a "guardian of standards" within the Risk and Compliance team. Your mission is to ensure the organization stays on the right side of the law and internal rules. You will act as a meticulous observer and researcher, helping to protect the company’s reputation and operational license by identifying risks before they become problems and ensuring that every department follows the established "rulebook."

What will you be doing?

• Policy Maintenance: Assisting in the vital work of drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies to ensure they are current and effective.

• Regulatory Scouting: Tracking changes in the legal and regulatory landscape that could impact the business, acting as an early-warning system for the team.

• Audit Support: Helping conduct "health checks" and internal audits to verify that different departments are actually following the procedures they are supposed to.

• Reporting & Documentation: Organizing and preparing the paperwork required for regulatory bodies, ensuring that all compliance data is accurate and ready for inspection.

• Risk Monitoring: Observing day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to specific frameworks (such as Anti-Money Laundering, Data Privacy, or industry-specific laws).

• Academic Foundation: Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Finance, or Business Administration, where you’ve learned to interpret rules and structures.

• Analytical Thinking: You don't just see a rule; you understand the "why" behind it and can spot potential gaps in how it’s applied.

• Meticulous Detail: You are the type of person who reads the fine print; you understand that in compliance, a single missed clause can have major consequences.
