 We are looking for an Operation Theatre Nurse – Trauma Care to provide expert perioperative support for trauma and emergency surgeries, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.


Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for trauma and emergency surgical patients, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative recovery.
Assist surgeons and the multidisciplinary team during trauma and emergency procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to aseptic and infection control standards.
Prepare, check, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, implants, and consumables to ensure readiness and functionality.
Monitor and document patients’ clinical status and vital signs throughout the perioperative journey, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, recovery staff, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and theatre workflow.
Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives to support clinical excellence.
Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license, or DOH Eligibility.
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Theatre experience, preferably supporting trauma, emergency, or acute surgical procedures.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Experience in managing trauma cases, emergency surgeries, and multidisciplinary surgical teams is an advantage.

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.

So a recruiter searching for a candidate with PMP certification, will never find this person, in spite of his 'CV information' existing in the database...
