Overview Of The Role:
The Business Development Executive is crucial for expanding GAC & AION's market presence by developing sustainable business relationships beyond traditional retail sales. Focusing on increasing brand visibility, the role involves generating qualified business opportunities and building long-term partnerships with corporate, government, and semi-government sectors. This role demands regular field activities, stakeholder meetings, client visits, community event participation, and collaboration with internal teams like Sales, Marketing, and Management.
What You Will Do:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate, government, and semi-government organizations, as well as strategic institutional accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, corporate organizations, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular corporate visits, presentations, exhibitions, and brand awareness events to promote GAC & AION products and services.
- Promote GAC & AION brand for Corporate Employee Purchase Programs and generate showroom appointments and vehicle test drives.
- Identify relevant tenders and coordinate with internal stakeholders while maintaining awareness of market developments and emerging business opportunities.
- Manage CRM and pipeline, ensuring all customer interactions are recorded and the sales pipeline is updated.
- Collaborate with Retail Sales and Marketing to maximize business opportunities and support brand awareness.
- Represent GAC & AION at exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and other brand activation initiatives; plan and execute an annual calendar of customer engagement activities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Department to align business development activities with ongoing campaigns and deliver agreed on-ground support for promotional activations.
- Support showroom retail targets through lead generation and referral business.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong business development, lead generation, and account management skills with experience handling corporate and government clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, sales pipeline management, procurement, and tender processes.
- Ability to plan and execute customer events, brand activations, and networking initiatives.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field. Equivalent professional qualifications may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Qatar in business development, corporate sales, and government relations; automotive industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of Qatar market and local business environment.
- Experience in tender management and corporate account development is an advantage.
