Senior Project Manager, Global Projects & Industry Solutions, Air & Sea, Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Lead full door-to-door project logistics (heavy lift, modules, project cargo) operations from planning through final delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project execution plans, transportation schedules, milestones, and risk registers.
- Coordinate multimodal transportation involving international freight, road, sea, barge, rail, heavy haul and specialized lifting operations.
- Manage movement of oversized, out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo.
- Ensure all project deliveries are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Technical & Engineering Coordination
- Review transportation studies, lifting plans, route surveys and method statements.
- Coordinate with transport engineers, heavy lift contractors, shipping lines and port operators.
- Assess technical feasibility for transportation and lifting operations.
- Evaluate transport routes, bridge capacities, road restrictions and permitting requirements.
Commercial Management
- Monitor project budgets, cost controls and profitability.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms with carriers, transporters and project vendors.
- Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education – Bachelors / Master’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
Work Experience – 5-8 experience in project logistics, heavy lift, breakbulk or project cargo operations.
