We need a Banking Assistant Officer
Overview
Job Details
Maintain regular communication and coordination with local banks to secure annual credit limits required for issuing rial and foreign currency guarantees.
Manage the opening of rial and foreign currency letters of credit along with other banking facilities while ensuring compliance with applicable banking procedures and requirements.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of bank guarantees, credit facilities, documentary credits, and related financial instruments within the internal tracking system.
Prepare official letters and correspondence for banks and follow up on requests concerning the renewal, extension, amendment, or cancellation of guarantees and banking facilities.
Organize, update, and maintain banking documents and records to ensure accurate reporting and easy access when required.
Track banking transactions and financial instruments closely to ensure all required activities are completed within the agreed timelines.
Coordinate with internal departments and provide support with banking documents, requests, and clarification of financial procedures when necessary.
Assist in ensuring banking activities comply with internal financial policies, established procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
Maintain regular follow up with banks and relevant departments to resolve documentation or transaction related issues promptly.
Job Experience Requirements
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and procedures, particularly those related to bank guarantees, credit facilities, and financial instruments.
Good understanding of documentary credits, letters of credit, and general banking transaction processes.
Practical experience handling bank guarantees, banking facilities, and routine banking operations.
Basic to good knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, and related documentation.
Ability to prepare and manage official banking correspondence and financial documents accurately and professionally.
Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple banking requests, follow deadlines, and maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
