Technology Strategy Consultant, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities

Drive rigorous and structured approach to identifying and solving complex technology business problems that leads to strategic insights

Identify/prioritize value creation opportunities at the intersection of business and technology based on assessment activities and an understanding of high-level visions, performance gaps, and needs

Lead independently small engagements or stream of work end-to-end across all delivery components: client satisfaction, value delivered, teams management, financials, etc.

Identify and nurture pull-through business opportunities, support business development effort with client and Accenture teams until successful sale closure

Collaborate with clients and within Accenture to align their business and technology priorities

Develop content knowledge and share through pro-active involvement in technology strategy operations and community of practices

Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative insights, knowledge, guidance and recommendations on a specific market-relevant technology strategy domain

Interaction with senior management at a client and/or Accenture to steer recommendations and obtain buy-in on matters that may require alternate approach

Qualification
Proven experience in IT/Digital technology strategy

Proven and relevant past consulting experience; alternatively strong in-house IT & Digital strategy / enterprise architecture division / advanced startup / pre-sales roles (and demonstration of intrinsic consulting skills)

Arabic speaking must and fluent English.

Strong data-driven consulting with focus on business and technology value architecting and realization

Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments

Management of team efforts at a client or within Accenture

Ability to pull-through business opportunities

Experience and understanding of core technology strategy offerings – IT & Digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, operating model, data & analytics, cloud

Experience in technology advisory and/or implementation

Ability to operate cross industry, with preferred experience in Banking, Telcos, Oil&Gas, and/or Government

Pro-actively acquired business knowledge beyond technical role or via business school i.e. MBA

Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine HSE inspections across construction areas.
• Monitor contractor compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report corrective actions.
• Support toolbox talks and site safety awareness activities.
• Monitor permit-to-work implementation and PPE compliance.
• Assist with incident reporting and HSE documentation.

Profile
Requirements:
• Relevant HSE qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar projects.
• Experience in construction site safety inspections.

Ensure supplier invoices related to the jobs are received in the supplier invoice management system and liaise with suppliers for any invoicing requirements.

Support the Operations team with vessel visits or attendance as needed.

Assist with customer queries and requirements regarding services rendered.

Help in promptly passing operationally closed job files on for Invoicing.

Ensure on-time renewal of company-provided Government IDs.

Assure availability and proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.

Job requirements
Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduate with University degree or equivalent.

Professional Qualification: Knowledge of location and traffic rules; port/customs rules and regulations.

Specialist Knowledge: Proactive, well-dressed, and mannered.

Communication / Language: Knowledge of written & spoken English.

Computer Aptitude: Good knowledge of computer and phone usage.

Detailed Experience Levels: +1 year experience in a similar field. Freshers can also be considered, by assessing their academics, personality, and aptitude for the job. Necessary plans should be in place to develop their skills and competencies.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly, working collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional results. If you're a resilient professional who takes pride in your work and is committed to continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Maintain and repair all electrical systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and electrical system installations
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment as assigned and document findings accurately
Install wiring, devices, and temporary power installations while adhering to all safety protocols
Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, NEC codes, and local UAE electrical regulations and safety standards
Conduct comprehensive safety checks on all electrical devices and systems
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical literature, and maintenance instructions with precision
Operate and maintain in-house lighting control systems and related equipment
Assist with setup, teardown, and distribution of temporary power for events and special projects
Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies while keeping assigned work areas clean and organized
Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve electrical issues efficiently
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent
Minimum five years of verifiable commercial electrical experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and NEC codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical literature
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in preventative maintenance and electrical system installation
Material handling equipment certification as required
Knowledge of local UAE electrical codes and standards
**Preferred Qualifications:**

Additional certifications in specialized electrical systems or technologies
Experience with lighting control systems and temporary power installations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights safely
**Physical Requirements:**

Good physical condition with regular ability to bend, kneel, and reach
Capability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the workday
Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying seasons
Willingness to work flexible schedules when necessary
