Overview

The Senior Manager - SME (Audit) is an externally facing leadership role responsible for engaging clients—particularly within Financial Services and other regulated industries to shape, position, and deliver technology-enabled audit and assurance solutions. This role goes beyond traditional internal audit execution. It operates at the intersection of governance, risk, technology, and transformation, working directly with client executives (CAE, CFO, CRO, CIO, CTO) to modernize audit functions, embed analytics and AI into assurance processes, and strengthen governance frameworks.

The individual will act as a trusted advisor and market evangelist, translating Presight’s data, AI, and analytics capabilities into scalable, productized audit and assurance offerings that support clients’ regulatory obligations, operational resilience, and digital transformation agendas.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

Serve as a trusted advisor to Chief Audit Executives and senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology

Lead client discussions to understand audit maturity, regulatory expectations, digital transformation priorities, and control challenges

Facilitate executive workshops and diagnostic sessions to assess current-state audit capabilities

Shape client roadmaps for modernizing internal audit through analytics, automation, and AI-enabled assurance

Act as the bridge between client audit/business teams and Presight’s product, data, and engineering functions

Solution Shaping & Productization

Shape and refine Presight’s technology-enabled audit and assurance offerings for FSI and regulated sectors

Translate audit and regulatory requirements into scalable solution components, accelerators, and repeatable frameworks

Contribute to go-to-market materials, proposals, and client presentations

Support commercial teams in positioning differentiated audit analytics, continuous monitoring, and AI-driven assurance capabilities

Identify opportunities to embed data, automation, and advanced analytics into audit workflows

Governance & Control Expertise

Provide subject matter expertise across internal audit methodologies, governance frameworks, and internal control environments

Advise on evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of business, technology, data, and AI-related controls

Translate audit findings into practical, value-driven recommendations aligned to business and technology realities

Support clients in strengthening transparency, accountability, and control oversight mechanisms

Ensure alignment with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Governance standards where relevant

Market Evangelism & Thought Leadership

Act as an advocate for data-driven and AI-enabled audit transformation

Monitor regulatory developments and supervisory expectations impacting internal audit and assurance functions

Develop thought leadership content, executive briefings, and industry insights

Represent Presight in industry forums, client roundtables, and strategic engagements

Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory—preferably within Financial Services or other regulated industries

Strong background in audit methodologies, governance, and internal control frameworks

Proven client-facing advisory or consulting experience

Experience assessing business processes, technology platforms, data environments, and digital transformation initiatives

Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology conversations credibly

Experience engaging senior stakeholders (CAE, CFO, CRO, CIO, CTO)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience modernizing audit functions through analytics, automation, or digital platforms

Exposure to data governance, cybersecurity, AI, or technology risk domains

Experience supporting regulatory reviews, supervisory interactions, or large-scale transformation programs

Job Description

The Site Manager will lead and manage all on-site activities for a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination project based in Fujairah, UAE. The role is responsible for ensuring successful execution of construction, installation, and commissioning works in compliance with project specifications, timelines, budget, and quality standards. The Site Manager will act as the key interface between the project team, contractors, and client representatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations for the SWRO desalination project.

Coordinate and supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.

Ensure project execution aligns with approved schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.

Oversee installation of SWRO systems including intake/outfall, pretreatment, RO units, and post-treatment systems.

Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.

Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure work meets technical and quality standards.

Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.

Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status, risks, and mitigation actions.

Manage site resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.

Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Resolve on-site technical and operational issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 15-20 years of experience in large industrial or infrastructure projects.

At least 5 years of experience in a Site Manager or similar leadership role.

Proven experience in SWRO desalination or large-scale water treatment projects.

Strong knowledge of desalination processes, equipment, and construction practices.

Familiarity with international standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).

Experience working on projects in the Middle East, preferably UAE.

Proficiency in project planning and management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Relevant certifications such as PMP or NEBOSH (preferred).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Description

Job Purpose

To plan and coordinate of maintenance activities for components and other workshop units. The Workshop Planning Engineer is responsible for creating detailed schedules, assigning daily work targets, tracking progress, and preparing performance reports, ensuring optimal use of manpower and resources within the workshop.

Key Result Responsibilities

Receive work scopes and shop visit requests from CAMO or Component Planning teams.

Prepare detailed schedules for shop visits

Plan, allocate, and communicate daily work assignments and targets to workshop technicians.

Monitor progress against plan and adjust schedules as necessary to meet turnaround time (TAT) commitments.

Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Tooling, and Stores to ensure timely availability of required parts, tools, and documentation.

Track work-in-progress (WIP) and maintain real-time updates in AMOS,

Escalate issues that may cause delays (e.g., material shortages, findings, manpower constraints).

Prepare post-visit reports analyzing TAT, labor hours, delays, non-routines, and findings.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on workshop efficiency, scheduling, and resource utilization.

Participate in daily planning meetings and cross-department coordination with stakeholders.

Planning of materials, consumables and tooling for workshops.

Management of AMOS-CROM & CMP projects.

People Management:

Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.

Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.

Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Proficient in building and managing Gantt charts and detailed schedules.

Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal, across departments and levels.

Familiar with airline or MRO operations, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.

Understanding of workshop processes and turnaround planning.

Awareness of human factors in aircraft maintenance activities.

Work Experience

4+ years of experience in workshop maintenance planning.

Experience using project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and maintenance software such as AMOS TRAX (AMOS Preferred).
