Business Development Executive, Sharjah, UAE

Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a  Business Development Executive to develop new  business opportunities, manage client enquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales revenue and profitability targets. The role requires professional communication, accurate coordination, and proper handover of confirmed orders to internal teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Generate new leads and develop relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, interior designers, developers, and direct clients.

Manage client enquiries through calls, emails, walk-ins, referrals, website leads, and social media channels professionally and on time.

Understand client requirements and collect drawings, measurements, BOQs, specifications, and site details needed for quotations.

Coordinate with Estimation, Design, Projects, Production, Procurement, and Operations to prepare accurate quotations and clarifications.

Follow up on quotations, negotiate within approved commercial limits, and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.

Present company products and solutions, including glass, aluminium, decorative works, mirrors, partitions, and project-based works.

Handover confirmed jobs with approved scope, drawings, specifications, delivery dates, payment terms, and client contact details.

Maintain sales records, client database, pipeline updates, quotation files, approvals, and reports, and support payment follow-up with Accounts.

Achieve assigned sales revenue, gross margin, and new business development targets.

Maintain quotation follow-up, lead conversion, and sales pipeline accuracy at agreed levels.

Deliver professional client communication, proposals, and coordination to maintain high client satisfaction.

Complete sales documentation, approvals, handover files, and client records accurately and on time.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant sales experience within the glass industry is mandatory.

Good understanding of glass, aluminium, decorative works, interior fit-out, drawings, measurements, BOQs, and project requirements.

Strong sales, negotiation, lead generation, customer service, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM/ERP or tracking systems, quotation follow-up, reporting, communication, and cross-department coordination.

Good communication skills in English; Arabic language skills will be an advantage.

Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Comfortable working in an office-based role with regular client meetings, showroom/client visits, site visits, and travel within the UAE as required.

So a recruiter searching for a candidate with PMP certification, will never find this person, in spite of his 'CV information' existing in the database...
