About the role
The Data Analyst Assistant position exists to support a high priority mandate for a major logistics and infrastructure group. You will be responsible for organizing raw market data and internal performance metrics to help our principals form a clear view on business health. This role is essential for maintaining the rigorous standards of evidence that our clients expect from our firm.

What you will do
Gather and organize data sets related to the major logistics and infrastructure group mandate.
Update internal models to reflect recent market movements and performance changes.
Conduct desktop research on regional competitors and sector trends.
Summarize technical reports into brief, readable notes for the firm principals.
Verify the accuracy of financial figures and data points in client presentations.
Support the development of governance templates and reporting structures for holding companies.
Identify and flag inconsistencies in data sources to ensure research integrity.
Maintain organized records of all information used in the formation of a mandate view.
What we are looking for
A strong grasp of logical reasoning and the ability to find patterns in numbers.
Clear writing skills with an emphasis on brevity and technical precision.
Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic tools for data visualization.
Curiosity about how large corporations manage varied asset portfolios.
The discipline to work effectively in a fully remote environment without constant supervision.
Academic or project experience that involves collecting and interpreting information.
