Job description
Achieve personal Operating Income target. 

Promptly send quotations to clients and maintain a very close follow-up on all quotations sent out.    

Prepare weekly sales visit plan and enter details of the visit in GAC Sales system. 

Ensure that credit approvals are in place for all credit clients handled by the sales team.   

Assist the Finance department in maintaining the receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms. 

Actively pass-on sales leads to sales teams within GAC company and overseas GAC Companies and agents.  

Similarly try to capitalize on all sales leads and convert them into business. 

Job requirements
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently and cross-functionally with operations and solutions

Understand the 3PL business module such as knowledge of or direct exposure to warehousing/distribution operations, value-added services and ideally Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related technology.

B2B & B2C sales experience is highly valued; an established network of potential clients (importers, e-commerce, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) is a major advantage.

Experience generating leads, managing the full sales cycle (prospecting → proposal → negotiation → close), and meeting/exceeding sales targets.

3 to 5 years of experience in business development

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Strong client base also can be added advantage.

Overview
Commercial Manager will oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of buildings projects. This role involves managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, handling claims and variations, and supporting project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong financial acumen and cost‑control expertise.

Job Description
Plans and executes various financial, compliance and operational audits in accordance with accepted professional standards in order to determine compliance with institutional policies and procedures and adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Maintains quality control on financial documents and reports produced in the Secretary General's units. * Develops detailed audit plans and programs. * Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in the Secretary General's units. * Performs specific audit procedures and prepares work papers documenting the audit procedures performed. * Performs quality control on financial reports produced and distributed from the Secretary General's Office. * Reviews direct purchase transactions under AED 10,000 for compliance with University policies and procedures. * Reviews compliance of University departments with policies and procedures, as assigned. * Prepares comprehensive written reports. * Follows up to determine adequacy of corrective actions. * Provides assistance to external auditors as requested. * Special studies and projects as may be assigned. * Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualification
Knowledge and Technical Skills Required * Strong written and verbal communications skills. * Microsoft Office Suite.\ * Familiarity with education operations preferred * Fluent in English and Arabic Education and Experience * Baccalaureate degree in accounting or related field and professional certification. * Three to five years' experience.

Bachelor Degree

Involves system implementation, data integration, reporting automation, and strong communication/training capabilities.

Senior Commercial Valuer, Sharjah, UAE

The position will be based in the Sharjah office and will be responsible for managing predominantly commercial valuation instructions and assist in expanding the client base and develop business with existing client contacts. The successful candidate MRICS/RICS Registered Valuer will be generating, coordinating, and managing commercial valuation assignments for a variety of clients to include Banks, International Lenders, Investors, Family Offices and REITs. This is an opportunity for the right individual to work with an experienced and successful team in an exciting and expanding area of Savills business.

Key Responsibilities

To carry our professional property valuations for land, commercial/ residential buildings, both existing properties, new build and under construction, ensuring correct advice and guidance is provided on accurate market values.

Liaising with clients to secure instructions

Coordinating Savills local teams across the Middle East network

Working alongside the wider UAE Valuation teams for the undertaking of regular contracted portfolio valuation work, bank instructions as well as one-off mandates for multiple purposes

Adopting Savills tools to provide market leading outputs for clients

Contribute directly towards improving the team’s fee income and profitability

Undertake a lead role in the promotion and development of the Valuation team within the wider Savills business

Produce high quality presentations and sign off reports

Co-ordinate and manage instructions, specifically the turnaround time whilst maintaining quality control

Work with and assist other members of staff within the APC program

Play a key role as a mentor to junior staff, attending sessions to assist with their learning & development

Keep abreast of market developments and share these regularly with the team and firm as required

Evaluate, adapt, and improve standards, techniques, and procedures

Streamline data management and tracker systems to maximise efficiencies 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Member of the RICS with relevant Valuation experience

At least two years’ experience in a similar role (knowledge of Middle East markets would be advantageous)

RICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status

Ideally 1 – 5 years PQE

Experience of working in a client facing valuation role

Familiarity with Argus Enterprise and knowledge of discounted cash flows

Willingness to work outside of comfort zone

Driving license holder

Precise work ethic, with excellent attention to detail

Self-motivated and able to use own initiative

Focused and organised
