Health & Safety Officer, Fujairah, UAE

Description:

Indian School Fujairah is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Health & Safety Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor the school's Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.

Ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Education (MOE), Civil Defence, and other regulatory requirements.

Organize emergency preparedness drills, evacuation exercises, and safety awareness programs.

Investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate fire safety systems, first aid facilities, and emergency response plans.

Conduct Health & Safety training for staff and students.

Promote a safe and healthy learning environment across the school campus.

Requirements:

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent internationally recognized Health & Safety qualification (preferred).

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Health & Safety experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.

Knowledge of UAE Occupational Health & Safety regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and Ministry of Education Health & Safety standards.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Must meet UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) approval requirements.
