Senior Account Manager, Sharjah, UAE

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for talking with prospective clients on the phone as well as conducting face-to-face meetings. Reporting to the Sales Manager at Equiti Securities, you will be working in a team and will make a tangible impact everyday by growing Equiti Securities’ portfolio of clients support.

 

Responsibilities

Developing and building new relationships through various channels
Skillset in dealing with High Net Worth (HNW) individuals and Partners
Contacting leads to convert them
Maintaining relationships with existing clients
Using own industry sources and various external channels to build strong relationships
Consistently securing and growing client numbers by demonstrating a clear point of difference in experience, market knowledge and personal focus over the competition
Achieving sales targets
Being a trusted point of contact to clients on market and trading relating matters
Assisting in planning and executing client events as required
Providing training to potential and existing clients on financial assets and trading platforms
Collaborating with key internal departments, particularly marketing, operations, and development teams to gain support for projects
Completing required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
 

Skills & Competencies

Strong product knowledge.ie. (FX, Equities, CFDs, etc.)
Strong knowledge of sales planning and various direct, indirect and alternative sales channels management.
Strong analytical and numerical acumen
Self-motivated personality, well organized with good follow-up skills.
Professional in English and Arabic
 

Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration is preferred
3+ years of professional experience in a similar role as an Account Manager and/or dealing with high-net-worth clients in the FX Industry
.

What is an ATS CV?

Applicant Tracking System or "ATS", is the software that 'READS' your CV and stores this information in a database. Like this:

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.

So a recruiter searching for a candidate with PMP certification, will never find this person, in spite of his 'CV information' existing in the database...
