Operating in a lean, high?performance startup environment, we prioritise speed, ownership and execution. Our team is intentionally small but highly capable, enabling us to move quickly, test ideas and scale solutions without legacy constraints. We value individuals who are hands?on, commercially minded and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a strong bias toward action. Role Overview We are seeking an Operations Manager to build, optimise and scale day?to?day operations across our fintech platform and affiliated businesses. This role is central to ensuring seamless execution across payments, partner fulfilment and internal processes, while helping transition the business from high?touch startup operations to scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is structured, hands?on and solutions?driven, with experience in fast?paced fintech, payments or platform businesses. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Operations Management • Oversee and optimise day?to?day operations across the PayitFast platform and associated products. • Ensure seamless execution of payment flows, settlement processes and internal workflows. • Build and maintain scalable operating procedures (SOPs) across all business lines. • Identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, cost-efficiency and team collaboration. • Develop and monitor key operational metrics and KPIs to track performance and guide strategic decisions. • Lead operational planning and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Collaborate with department heads to improve workflow, resolve bottlenecks and drive cross-functional initiatives. Payments & Financial Operations • Manage operational processes across cross?border payments (fiat and stablecoin rails). • Work closely with the Finance department to ensure liquidity availability and efficient capital movement • Identify opportunities to improve transaction speed, cost and reliability. Multi-Entity & Cross-Border Coordination • Manage operational workflows across multiple jurisdictions and corporate entities. • Coordinate intercompany processes, fund movements and reporting support. • Ensure consistency and alignment of operations across the group. Process Optimisation & Scaling • Identify inefficiencies and implement automation and process improvements. • Build infrastructure that supports high transaction volumes and business growth. • Drive the transition from manual, startup processes to scalable systems. Cross-Functional Execution • Act as the operational bridge between: o product & tech (platform improvements, tooling); o finance & treasury (payments, liquidity, reporting); and o growth & partnerships (onboarding and operational readiness). • Translate business needs into clear operational execution plans. Required Experience & Profile • 5+ years of experience in growth operations, business management roles and commercial strategy roles. • A background in luxury services, private clients, fintech platforms or concierge businesses. • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. • Strong analytical skills and comfort with operational KPIs and data-driven decision-making. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Attributes • Certified Operations Manager (COM). • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher). • Project Management Professional (PMP). • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
