Job Overview
Responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the project site, aligned with SEC safety standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures
· Ensure compliance with SEC 5-Star Safety System
· Conduct site safety inspections and audits
· Identify hazards and perform risk assessments
· Ensure proper use of PPE
· Conduct toolbox talks and safety training
· Investigate incidents and prepare reports
· Ensure compliance with permit-to-work system (PTW)
· Monitor subcontractors’ safety performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
· Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety
· Experience in 33 kV substations projects
· NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
· Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and SEC standards
· Familiar with SLPP system
· Good communication and leadership skills
Additional Skills
Experience with contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems
Familiarity with environmental management and emergency response coordination
First aid, fire warden, or other practical safety certifications are desirable
Prior experience in substation, utilities, or critical infrastructure projects is an advantage

Collaborative and customer-focused with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment and decision-making skills
