Manager / Senior Manager – Tax, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Purpose

Support and manage taxation activities across the Middle East business, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and alignment with global standards. Oversee  tax reporting, and advisory across direct and indirect taxes, while proactively identifying risks and delivering commercially sound solutions.
Work closely with finance teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, drive tax efficiency, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of all tax obligations in a dynamic regulatory environment.
 

 

Responsibilities
Support compliance with local tax regulations across the Middle East, including timely submission of corporate tax, withholding tax, and VAT returns.
Review and assess all material transactions from a tax perspective and ensure that tax risks and mitigations are effectively communicated to management.
Apply strong knowledge across direct, indirect, and employment taxes, including transfer pricing.
Maintain compliance trackers and assist in developing review programs/checklists.
Facilitate resolution of tax assessments, by ensuring all data is readily available to support tax positions taken.
Assist in evaluating uncertain tax positions and supporting tax provisioning discussions.
Advise on tax implications of business transactions and provide solutions to reduce tax cost.
Advise on cross-border transactions with emphasis on permanent establishment risks, withholding tax implications, registration requirements and availability of treaty relief.
Assist in corporate restructuring and provide support in acquisitions.
Provide financial information and ratios required for bids.
Keep the business informed of tax issues and analyze impact of legislative changes.
Ensure proper recognition of current and deferred taxes.
Reporting directly to VP – Global Taxation, with a dotted line to  Regional Finance leadership.
Coordinate information requirements with local finance teams and external auditors.
Support the assessment and implementation of OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) requirements, coordinating with Global Tax and local finance teams.
Understand transfer pricing and disclosure requirements.
Assist in legal entities consolidation/reduction exercise, acquisitions and restructuring.
Qualifications
7–10 years’ experience in tax, including time with a Big 4 or reputable advisory firm.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Knowledge of Middle East tax laws and regulations, practices and procedures.
Solid knowledge of accounting and finance.
Ability to develop creative, defensible and advantageous tax results within the boundaries of tax legislation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Skills & Attributes

High attention to detail and accuracy in managing tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities: Capable of handling concurrent deadlines and obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Commercial mindset with the ability to align tax strategies to business objectives and drive value.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and work across multiple function.
 Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Effective communication skills, capable of simplifying complex tax concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
Strong risk awareness and judgement in identifying and mitigating tax exposures.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work across regional and global teams.
Adaptable and resilient, able to operate in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Supervisor HSE Project for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Related Discipline.
Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment standards across all project activities in offshore environments.
Implement and enforce project HSE plans, procedures, and safe work practices
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, client standards, and international HSE guidelines
Conduct routine inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify hazards and unsafe conditions
Monitor high‑risk activities such as lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry, working at height, SIMOPS, and vessel operations
Lead hazard identification (HAZID), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and toolbox talks
Ensure emergency response plans, drills, and equipment are in place and functional
Conduct HSE inductions for new personnel and visitors
Maintain daily HSE logs, inspection reports, and compliance checklists
Act as the HSE focal point between project management, construction teams, subcontractors, and offshore operations
Experience Required

Minimum 12 to 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in HSE exposure in Oil & Gas, within offshore projects.
Strong knowledge of PTW systems, SIMOPS, and offshore safety regulations
Familiarity with international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Mechanical Construction Background.
Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.

Description
Job Purpose
Assists line manager in driving student enrollment for the academy’s training programs by effectively building relationships, presenting program benefits, and exceeding sales targets through exceptional communication and customer service.

Key Result Responsibilities
Identifies and develops leads through various channels, such as attending industry events, networking with potential clients, and following up on online inquiries.
Cultivates strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and career advisors, understanding their needs and goals.
Presents information about the academy’s training programs, highlighting the benefits and career opportunities available to graduates.
Negotiates program fees and enrollment packages, effectively closing sales and exceeding targets.
Maintains accurate records of leads, contacts, and sales activities, ensuring efficient deal tracking and reporting.
Stays up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and aviation career opportunities.
Collaborates effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
Performs any additional duties as directed by the line manager.
Knowledge & Skills
 Strong understanding of the aviation industry.
 Solid experience in and exposure to flight operations and training environment
 Experience in GCAA examination and pilot/cadet medical bookings
 Knowledge of Market Analysis and Research software.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office.
 Fluent in English (Arabic and other languages are an advantage).
 Proven ability to carry out sales and marketing strategies.
 Excellent negotiation skills. 
 Strong relationship management skills to build trust and rapport with potential clients, airlines, and educational institutions.
 Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, aviation or a related field.
Work Experience
3+ years of experience in a similar role, handling similar administrative and sales related activities.
Knowledge of Market Analysis and Research software.

Job Description
This position is responsible for supervising field sales operations and ensuring efficient distribution of Bisleri’s bottled water products—both 5-gallon and PET packs. The role ensures achievement of sales targets, market coverage, merchandising execution, and team performance in line with brand standards.

Key Responsibility:

Supervise and support sales representatives and merchandisers across D2C, B2B, and retail segments.
Monitor day-to-day operations, deliveries, and product placement across residential, HORECA, and retail locations.
Build and maintain client relationships with households, offices, construction sites, and retail stores.
Track sales performance, identify new business opportunities, and share competitor insights with Sales Managers.
Ensure on-shelf visibility, planogram compliance, and promotional execution in retail outlets.
Train sales staff on product knowledge, customer engagement, and route planning best practices.
Coordinate with logistics and distribution partners for stock availability and route efficiency.
Ensure all sales activities comply with trade, health, and safety regulations.
Desired Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in bottled water or FMCG sales within the UAE market.
Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and deliver results across multiple locations.
In-depth knowledge of consumer and retail landscape, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
Proficient in English; Arabic and Hindi are a plus.
Experience with CRM tools and merchandising software is preferred.
