We need a Manager TMC Partnerships,
Job Purpose
Manager TMC Partnerships is a defining commercial leadership role within Emirates' Global Business organisation, shaping our global business travel proposition and strengthening Emirates' position as the preferred airline partner for Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and Business Travel Accounts (BTAs).
You will own the overarching TMC and BTA segment strategy, lead strategic relationships with major global partners and drive commercial growth, innovation and customer experience across the segment. With prime accountability towards an overall TMC and BTA revenue target, this role combines global account leadership, strategic partnerships, commercial performance, contracting and technology-led innovation.
In this role, you will:
- Own and drive the segment strategy for TMCs, BTAs and client partnerships, aligned with Emirates Commercial and NPSD objectives.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with global TMCs and BTAs, leading a business travel centre of excellence and a team of Global Key Account Managers to grow revenue and market presence.
- Lead and develop the Emirates MICE proposition and team, ensuring strategic revenue growth and global development in relevant markets.
- Develop, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with airlines, financial institutions, payment providers and key internal stakeholders to create mutually beneficial commercial opportunities.
- Lead TMC and BTA contracting, ensuring alignment with Emirates policies, legal requirements and governance frameworks.
- Partner with Data and Systems teams to identify and deliver opportunities for automation, innovation and technology advancement that enhance the Emirates proposition and customer experience.
- Maintain effective servicing of global TMC relationships through business reviews, awareness of industry developments and global trends, including areas such as direct connectivity with Global Distribution Systems.
- Monitor performance, booking trends, pace and demand across TMCs and BTAs, translating insights into actions that support KPIs, sales targets, profitability and contractual compliance.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Attested Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
- More than 10 years' experience within Commercial/Sales or a relevant related area.
- Experience in corporate travel, airline sales or global account management.
- A proven track record of managing TMCs, BTAs and/or strategic partnerships at regional or global level.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, commercial performance management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic account and partnership management.
- Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in business development and the ability to drive performance and growth in complex global environments.
