Associate - Commercial Manager, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Your role

Lead and manage the commercial team across all project phases.
Act as the primary commercial interface with senior Contractor and Consultant representatives.
Oversee the administration of contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Manage and resolve complex commercial, contractual, and claims‑related matters.
Provide strategic commercial advice and robust recommendations to project leadership.
Review and negotiate commercial submissions, variations, and contractual correspondence.
Drive timely commercial decisions to support project objectives and delivery milestones.
Protect and maintain the Employer's commercial and contractual interests.
Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring commercial governance.
Monitor commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support dispute avoidance and resolution through effective negotiation and stakeholder management.
Ensure successful project delivery through proactive commercial leadership and control.
Lead commercial and contractual activities on behalf of the Employer.
Manage cost, change, claims, and contract administration.
Act as the key commercial interface between project stakeholders.
Provide commercial advice and protect the Employer's'interests.



About you

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is mandatory.
Minimum 10+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
Extensive UAE experience in the delivery of residential mid‑rise, mixed‑use and community developments.
Proven experience leading commercial teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrable post‑contract expertise within consultancy, PMC, or client organizations.
Advanced knowledge of FIDIC Red Book contracts.
Expert understanding of post‑contract commercial management.
Cost reporting and financial management.
Cash flow forecasting and analysis.
Variations and change management.
Final account negotiations and settlement.
Claims management and entitlement assessment.
Contract administration and determination processes.
Commercial risk management.
Cost analytics and benchmarking.

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for Instrument Field Surveyor (Office/Field) to be involved in a Tags Registration Project regarding Oil & Gas plants in the UAE.

Main responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys of instrumentation and control equipment in operating facilities.

Identify and verify instrumentation equipment directly in the field, including instruments, transmitters, switches, control valves, actuators and associated devices.

Collect equipment identification data, nameplate information, tag numbers, specifications and other relevant technical information.

Verify field data against P&IDs, Instrument Indexes, datasheets, loop diagrams, equipment lists and other available engineering documentation.

Recognize and distinguish the main types of instrumentation based on their physical configuration, application and operating principle.

Demonstrate a practical understanding of common measurement technologies.

Identify different types of control valves and actuators and understand their basic operating principles.

Identify instrument installation arrangements, impulse lines, manifolds, tubing, junction boxes and associated field accessories.

Identify discrepancies between field conditions and available engineering documentation.

Support the preparation, review and validation of instrumentation master data and field survey databases.

Maintain accurate and traceable survey records and ensure that collected information is complete and consistent.

Comply with all applicable site HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures and access restrictions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or a related discipline

2–4 years of relevant field experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or other process industries.

Good practical knowledge of industrial instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments, transmitters, switches, indicators and associated field devices.

Ability to readily recognize different types of instrumentation in the field based on their physical configuration, measurement principle and application.

Good knowledge of control valves and associated actuators and accessories, including their main types, construction, applications and basic operating principles.

Good knowledge of instrumentation installation and associated field components, including manifolds, impulse lines, tubing, junction boxes, instrument stands and local instrument panels.

Good understanding of basic control and safeguarding systems, including the role of field instrumentation within DCS, PLC and SIS/ESD architectures.

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, Instrument Indexes, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams and other basic instrumentation documentation.

Desirable: Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM), particularly in relation to equipment and functional location master data.

Desirable: Familiarity with the SAP Fiori user interface and with SAP Asset Intelligence Network (SAP AIN) for accessing, managing and exchanging asset-related information and documentation.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with personnel at different organizational and technical levels.

Ability to work in harsh and challenging field environments, including demanding weather conditions and remote or industrial site conditions.

Proactive, hands-on attitude, strong willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new environments and technical requirements.

Good knowledge in Excel

Good spoken & communication skill

Training & Courses:

Basic HSE / Site Safety Training.

Familiarity with Oil & Gas equipment identification and field survey practices.

Training in instrumentation equipment, measurement principles and basic control systems is desirable.

Training or practical experience in SAP S/4HANA PM, SAP Fiori and/or SAP Asset Intelligence Network is desirable.

Graduate Consultant – Creative AV, Sharjah, UAE

Job Description
WSP  in the Middle East are looking for a Graduate Consultant – Creative AV to join our growing Specialist Creative, AV & Immersive Technology team within WSP Middle East. The role will focus on supporting the design, development, and delivery of innovative audio‑visual, creative technology, and immersive experience solutions for a diverse range of buildings and destinations across the region.

You will work alongside our multidisciplinary engineering, digital, and experience design experts to help shape next‑generation environments that merge technology, storytelling, space, and user experience.

Responsibilities
Support the design and integration of creative AV, immersive technologies, and digital media systems in major projects.
Assist in concept development, interactive experience prototyping, and technical documentation.
Prepare design reports, presentations, and schematics with guidance from senior team members.
Contribute to feasibility studies, option analyses, and research on emerging experience technologies.
Coordinate with internal teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Lighting, Acoustics, Digital) to ensure integrated design.
Review contractor submissions and assist in site inspections where required.
Support project delivery across different stages—from concept to detailed design and implementation.
Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders and wider WSP teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Innovation Design Engineering, Design Innovation, Creative Engineering, or a closely related field such as creative technology, immersive design, digital media, or experience engineering.
0–2 years of experience in AV design, creative technology, multimedia systems, or immersive environments — including internships, academic projects, or industry placements.
Strong understanding of AV systems, multimedia technologies, and immersive experience design.
Familiarity with prototyping tools, creative coding, XR/VR/AR platforms, and digital fabrication workflows.
Knowledge of user‑centred design, interaction design, and creative technology methods.
Strong visual storytelling, communication, and documentation skills.
Passion for emerging creative technologies and their application in the built environment.

Applicant Tracking System or "ATS", is the software that 'READS' your CV and stores this information in a database. Like this:

If the CV is not made as per the RULES of the ATS, the information will get messed up in the database. In the image below, 'PMP' has gone into the 'Mobile Number' column. The Mobile Number '052 1234567' has gone into the 'Main Skill' column.
