The Job Responsibilities

Purpose of this Function:

The Digital Transformation Manager is responsible to develop, plan and manage the implementation of Digital Transformation Initiatives within the Country and to focus on ERP Applications delivery and optimization.

is to provide, manage, and support digital solutions that enable business operations, efficiency, and innovation. It ensures secure, reliable, and scalable systems for data management, communication, and process automation. The IT function also supports strategic objectives by implementing enterprise systems, maintaining cybersecurity, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and technology regulations. Ultimately, IT serves as a critical enabler of productivity, connectivity, and business continuity across the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Strategical Management

Contribute to the company’s IT strategy, aligned with business goals and objectives.
Advise senior management on emerging technologies and digital trends that can drive business innovation.
Promote and generate interest for the advantages of integrating digital sales & service enablement solutions into business operations and seek out potential customers.
Lead initiatives that modernize operations through automation, cloud adoption, and system integration.
Part of the delivery model regarding Digital Transformation roadmap within the region.
Part of the delivery model regarding MS ERP BC roadmap within the region.
Liaison to with partners and functions to ensure delivery of the Digital transformation roadmap at defined quality, time and budget.
Develop business cases which support investments decision in digital transformation.
Contribute to the IT budget, optimizing costs and investments in technology.

Operational Management

Manage and maintain the organization's IT applications landscape including ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central).
Is responsible to manage and support the Business Central & NAV systems
MS ERP BC Project planning and execution, Current NAV requirements and modifications where applicable including partner coordination, change management, and prioritization.
The role works closely with the key users, process owners and IT service manager as well as with the MS ERP Product at headquarters in Germany.
Review and update Microsoft ERP service levels and performance (SLAs) aligning the current ERP capabilities with the organization’s strategic goals, user expectations, and industry best practices.
Advise and consult the country regarding suitable solutions for their daily B2B challenges.
Identify and define requirements for successful implementation of digital sales & service transformation initiatives including MS ERP Processes (NAV to BC).
Establish strong partnership with the Regional Team throughout the digital transformation implementation projects.
Guide employees and departments through application changes, upgrades, or new technology implementations.
Define and monitor KPI's related to the benefit of digital transformation within the Country in terms of growth and efficiency increase.
Monitor performance metrics and system reliability to ensure continuous improvement and business continuity.

Data Protection, Security, and Business Continuity

Oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response plans, and awareness programs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Establish internal IT Governance and Ensure data management policies, data privacy compliance, and improve data quality across systems.
Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and systems uptime.

Additional Roles:

Act as a proxy for the IT Service Manager during Leave and ensure smooth handover of critical tasks.

Your Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is typically required.

Related Experience:

5–10 years of progressive experience in IT or Digital Transformation roles with proven experience in managing IT enterprise applications, B2B Integrations.
Hands-on experience leading IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience in managing vendors, and service providers.
Familiarity with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data protection regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, Saudi PDPL).
Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Experience as functional/technical consultant and project manager for MS Dynamics NAV and BC appreciated
Experience in a global or multinational company with a standardized system and process landscape

Skills, Special Competencies, or Certifications

Presentation of complex technical coherences to technical as well es non-technical target groups.
Strong organizational personality, analytical skills and independent, yet team-oriented working style.
Business fluent in written and spoken English.
Initiative and the ability to multitask and work autonomously.
Strong understanding of business needs and ERP Systems (SAP, MS BC) processes in a Sales & Service subsidiary with the ability to act as a consultant to the business.
Project management skills with experience in leading IT initiatives (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certified)
Cybersecurity knowledge including risk management, data protection, and incident response (e.g., CISSP, CISM)

The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE
BESTE is seeking a senior-level Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for our drilling operations and product portfolio in Saudi Arabia. This is a high-impact engineering role that bridges field execution, sales support, and continuous performance improvement. You will own the full technical workflow — from multi-well bit and BHA program design, hydraulics modeling, and torque & drag analysis, through to post-job performance reviews and technology evaluation. Your expertise will be the technical backbone of BESTE's ability to deliver world-class drilling solutions to Saudi Aramco and its drilling contractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineering Design & Technical Authority
– Lead multi-well bit selection, BHA design, and drilling parameter optimization for Saudi Aramco and associated drilling programs.
– Perform hydraulics modeling, torque & drag analysis, and casing/liner wear assessments using industry-standard software platforms.
– Develop and review Well-Specific Bit Running Procedures (BRPs) and technical addenda for complex or high-risk well sections.

Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement
– Review and interpret post-run performance data, drilling logs, and dull bit reports to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
– Lead formal customer performance review meetings, presenting data-backed findings and action plans in a structured, professional format.
– Own the CPI process for technical performance issues — from root cause identification through to corrective action verification.

Sales & Field Operations Technical Support
– Provide direct technical support to the sales team — including offset well analyses, technical white papers, and competitive performance benchmarking.
– Support field engineers with real-time troubleshooting of complex drilling performance challenges.
– Review customer tender specifications and technical annexes to ensure BESTE's proposals are fully compliant and technically differentiated.

Technology Evaluation & Innovation
– Evaluate new drilling technologies, software applications, and product innovations for applicability in Saudi Aramco operating environments.
– Stay current on PDM, RSS, and advanced bit technology developments to ensure BESTE's technical recommendations remain at the industry forefront.
– Liaise with BESTE's product engineering teams to provide in-country feedback for product development and design improvements.
– Serve as the primary technical mentor for Associate Technical Professionals (ATPs), driving their development through coaching, structured training, and assignment to progressively complex engineering tasks.

Requirements

– Bachelor's Degree in Engineering — Petroleum, Mechanical, Geosciences, or closely related discipline. Master's Degree is an advantage.
– 3–7 years of drilling industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in drilling applications engineering, well planning, or advanced BHA/bit technology.
– Advanced proficiency in drilling engineering software (e.g., Landmark COMPASS, Halliburton WellPlan, or equivalent torque & drag / hydraulics platforms).
– Strong knowledge of PDC and Tricone bit technology, BHA design, formation evaluation, and drilling performance diagnostics.
– Experience working with or presenting to Saudi Aramco well engineering teams is highly preferred.
– Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
– Saudi National or KSA-resident candidates are strongly preferred.

We need Non-Destructive Inspection Technician (NDI) III - Buehring,

The Non-Destruction Inspection Technician (NDI) III inspects aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.

Conduct the training and examination on all NDT methods to certify and to re- certify all operators and inspectors as outlined in NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189.
Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.
Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center.
Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action.
Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations.
Compute and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitor personnel exposure data.
Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.
Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination’s, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment.
Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors.
Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment.
Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools.
Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment.
Perform silver recovery functions.
Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials
Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Completion of high school or equivalent and U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.
Trained and certified as an Examiner (Level III) to monitor the NDT Program, interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the NDT method, will be certified to review their own x-rays.
Three (3) years’ experience as a Non Destructive Inspection (NDI).
A Valid US Passport is Required for deployment to Kuwait. The Passport must have 3 years remaining before expiring, and 6 Blank pages available at the time of hire and deployment.
Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM Army MOD Physical and requirements for deployment (will attend CRC/ DIDC Training).
Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC clearance and Visa, prior to deployment.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required to obtain a Clearance and for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:

Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the approved NDT method(s).
Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
Capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.
Capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the method certified.
Approve NDT procedures and other NDT related work instructions for technical adequacy in the method in which they are certified.
Capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel in the method in which they are certified.
Thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method in which they are certified.
Capable of providing the necessary guidance and supervision to trainers and personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems or other technology as applicable to fabrication, repair, operation and maintenance requirements.
Efficient in record keeping and preparation of reports; capable of reviewing other people's work and determining accuracy and conformity to standards.
Proficient in the use of the Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation Enhanced (ULLS-AE), the current maintenance management system utilized to maintain Army aircraft forms and records.
Thorough comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
Thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
Detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. preferred.
Ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.
Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day
Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
May be required to lift heavy objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds
Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications
Will handle dirty parts and lubricants
Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Must be able to pass a Respirator Physical and Fit Test qualification
May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, etc.

May work in maintenance shop or outside
