GENERAL MANAGER, Jeddah, KSA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the hotel’s overall financial strategy, including budgeting, revenue management, and cost control.

Direct and coordinate all major property initiatives, including capital projects, renovations, and customer service improvements.

Strategically align the operations of the hotel with the vision of the Owners and Kerten Hospitality.

Direct the crafting and implementation of unique guest experiences that highlight the property's heritage.

Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, ensuring its uniqueness and heritage are preserved.

Ensure the hotel's operations are compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements, focusing on health, safety, and environmental standards.

Act as the primary liaison between hotel management and owners, ensuring alignment and compliance with all agreements.

Oversee and ensure compliance with operational standards and policies, maintaining the highest level of service quality.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Diploma in hotel management, hospitality, is advantageous.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in management within the hospitality industry in a luxury property with a proven track record of maintaining high standards of service.

Strategic mindset and analytical skills to anticipate market trends, identify business opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive competitive advantage and business success.

Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities to evaluate options, assess risks, and make informed decisions that align with the organization's goals and values.

Pre-Opening experience is a plus.

Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership, training, and cost-control skills.

Fluent in English and Arabic is an advantage.

Main Job Purpose

To manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients by delivering fleet solutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and achieving revenue targets. This role acts as the primary point of contact for key business customers, supporting long-term partnerships and retention.

Accountabilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.

Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Sixt fleet solutions.

Manage contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements.

Job Purpose:

To answer all ila Bank customer queries by delivering exception levels of customer experience and satisfaction. Using all the tools and resources available, striving to resolve all customer enquiries on first call (FCR).

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the required areas within ila Bank and AFS to ensure the expected levels of Customer Experience, Quality and SLAs are met or exceeded.

Work within the customer services team to deliver a closed loop continuous improvement approach to servicing ila customers & striving to constantly be better.

Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:

Responsible for the ila Bank Customer Service Contact Centre (CSCC) delivery to the agreed levels of Customer Experience for all customers on any given shift.

Answering communications from customers professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.

To ensure customers queries are answered with the aim of a first-time resolution.

To ensure that other queries are responded to within our agreed response time and SLAs.

To ensure the best Customer Service experience is given to all customers regardless of communication channel.

To achieve KPI’s whilst maintaining excellent quality.

To handle customers in both inbound and outbound across different platforms, including Social Media, Email, Live Chat and Telephone.

You will work with your colleagues across Customer Service to identify and highlight trends in any customer queries and feed this to the management team.

Researching required information using available resources to support resolving Customer requests.

Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding product sales to customer service problems.

Providing customers with the organisation’s service and product information.

Processing forms, cases, and applications requested by the customers.

Identifying, escalating priority issues and reporting to CSCC management.

Following up complicated customer calls where required.

Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the CRM.

Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries.

Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.

Managing administration, communicating and coordinating with internal departments.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

A minimum of one year experience in a customer service role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software.

Ideal: Banking background.

Involvement in startup business (ideal not mandatory).

Education:

BS in Banking/Finance or equivalent (Desired not mandatory).
