• Worked as the Schiehallion Hub and Quad 204 Area Business / Commercial & Planning Manager, drove sanction of $10 billion plus investment proposals and finance memos.
• Quad 204 mega project (combined three major projects) was of national significance with prime minister of the country inaugurating and was widely reported in press.
• Successfully led highly complex commercial and planning start-up/first oil of major oil and gas field operation with largest subsea infrastructure in overall BP portfolio.
• Spearheaded an annual JV operating budget & work programme approvals of $400m and annual capex programmes of $350m with a cost recovery of 2/3rd of the non-BP share and activity approvals over several years.

• Led, negotiated and completed numerous midstream/upstream new deals (& restructured existing) in excess of NPV $300 million BP share with gross JV value 3 times this. Also, developed standard life of field transportation & processing agreements for a key UK gas asset. Achieved significant improvement in the North Sea UK Region investment governance processes while reducing approval time of major investments from 4 months to 6 weeks.
• Boosted delivery from North Sea production centrally and improved value to around $7 billion of hydrocarbon sales per year (via oil sales term deals, equity sales to Integrated Supply & Trading and via a number of gas sales agreements with third parties).
• Fronted cash options tracking and delivery for the UK region. Delivered cash Optimisation / reduction at Region level on multiple assets ($100m + / yr).
• Achieved 30% reduction in costs over two years by planning & forecasting, economic analysis, assurance, performance management and reporting of CAPEX, OPEX, performance on technology spend globally.
