Financial reports
Collect & review financial data, providing and interpreting financial information to managerial staff
Prepare financial reports i.e. income statement, statement of financial position, cash flow statement
Ensure compliance of financial data with IFRS, IAS, GAAP
Liaison with banks, FTA for VAT (Tax) submission etc
Prepare for statutory audit, internal audit and satisfy queries
Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting softwares to be used for financial purposes

Project accounting
Study & analyze contract clauses, coordinate with departments
Prepare & control project budgeting & forecasting
Prepare project cost report, cost allocation to concerned projects, WIP work in progress, inventory, retention receivables, payables, plant & equipment report
Arrange project insurance (CAR), guarantees of retention, performance and finance, sub contractor payment certificates
Coordinating with procurement for opened up purchase orders and close them if not required to lessen committed cost on project report

Accounting work
Checking, controlling, reconciling all general ledgers and ensure correctness and completeness
Prepare month and year end closing and reporting
Check and review revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, receipts and payments
Check & review accruals, prepayments & advances
Check and control inventory, GRN & GIN, stock taking (rectify diff between physical & system stock
Checking bank/cash transactions, bank/cash reconciliation, bank transfers
Check & review Payroll - staff attendance, salary, leave, other settlements, leave travel, ESB & bonus
Prepare schedule of fixed assets with complete details of assets i.e. depreciation, location of asset, purchase value, usage time, disposals
Check and review LC invoices, payments, charges, LC margin held by bank, LC margin release
Check and review LGc (letter of guarantee) advance payment, Inter-company or related party transactions
