Being an accountant requires a vast amount of trust, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. Before I became an accountant I had these values instilled in me from a very young age so, these attributes come naturally to me, it is part of my character.
I am currently working at Union bank in Nigeria as a customer service accounts officer with 5 years of experience in the accounting industry. I have knowledge in government accounting procedures, as well as bank reconciliation, accounts paying and receiving, audit procedures and financial statements.
I am very flexible and understand that the role of an accountant requires diversity and adaptability, I am very hardworking and passionate about my career, which requires prioritizing my workload, and plan accordingly. All skills I have and continue to develop with the use of reflection on previous accounts.
I can and will work pro-actively in a team, and possess good communication skills because; I respect all professionals not matter the grade or age, which is critical when creating the most appropriate work environment for customers as well as colleagues.
