Revenue Manager, Dubai, UAE

JOB SUMMARY 

 

Maintains the transient rooms inventory for the hotel(s) and responsible for maximizing transient revenue. The Revenue Manager releases group rooms back into general inventory and ensures clean booking windows for customers. The position recommends pricing and positioning of cluster properties. In addition, the position oversees the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

 

Education and Experience

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

OR

• 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

 

Analyzing and Reporting Revenue Management Data

• Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales.

• Identifies the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

• Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

• Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.

• Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.

• Conducts sales strategy analysis and refines as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.

• Maintains accurate reservation system information.

• Analyzes period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.

• Generates updates on transient segment each period.

• Assists with account diagnostics process and validates conclusions.

 

Executing Revenue Management Projects and Strategy 

• Updates market knowledge and aligns strategies and approaches accordingly.

• Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.

• Attends meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate and manage activities and solutions.

• Establishes long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.

• Takes a predetermined strategy and drives the execution of that strategy.

• Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.

• Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders (owners, corporate, guests, etc.).

• Explores opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenges existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.

• Provides revenue management functional expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams and market sales leaders.

• Ensures hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and initiatives.

• Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.

• Prepares sales strategy meeting agenda, supporting documentation.

• Communicates proactively with properties regarding rate restrictions and strategy.

• Manages rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue.

• Assists hotels with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations.

• Leads efforts to coordinate strategies between group sales offices.

• Supports cluster selling initiatives by working with all reservation centers.

• Uses reservations system and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement and control selling strategies.

• Checks distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.

• Ensures property diagnostic processes (PDP) are used to maximize revenue and profits.

• Initiates, implements and evaluates revenue tests.

• Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes.

• Communicates brand initiatives, demand and market analysis to hotels/clusters/franchise partners/owners.

• Understands and communicates the value of the brand name as it relates to franchise partnerships and revenue management opportunities.

• Promotes and protects brand equity.

 

Building Successful Relationships

• Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships in a proactive manner.

• Acts as a liaison, when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support.

 

Additional Responsibilities 

• Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

• Attends staff/forecast/long range meetings as requested by properties.

As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of an Officer - Administration. In this role, you will support to the operation’s team by managing the administrative requirements of the assets’ operations.

Responsibilities

Handle daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.

Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and customers with a professional and welcoming attitude.

Provide accurate information about the destination, services, promotions, and facilities.

Manage visitor inquiries in person, by phone, email, and messaging channels.

Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, contractors, and service providers, process all the invoices and coordinate the same with internal departments (finance and procurement).

Prepare reports and presentations within the given deadlines as required by the management.

Lead and carry out PO and PR processes and administer related requests through the assigned ERP software’s.

Assist leasing department with day-to-day matters. Preparing contracts, perform due diligence and collect related documentation. All data to be updated and uploaded within the ERP software’s.

Ensure that all tenant’s complaints, issues, and operational challenges are addressed regularly.

Perform agreements due diligence and collect and validate related compliance documents (Insurances, Trade License, POAs, MOAs, for all tenants etc.)

Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative systems.

Carry out any other reasonable task as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Finance.

Minimum of 2 years experience in leasing administration / Tenant relations.

Job Description

Job Summary

Manages the end-to-end bid process for bids from identification to award.

Leads the development of technical and commercial proposals for the Middle East Civil Infrastructure business.

Leads bid development, as well as hands-on cost proposal development.

Works in partnership with senior leadership to develop winning pursuit strategies, ensuring all elements are incorporated into proposals

Assists in necessary market research and reporting required for new growth areas.

Works with other team members and marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled on time.

Prepares reports and presentations for internal and external use.

Participates in the go/no-go decision-making process, along with the appropriate managers and participates in the bid development process from start to finish.

Reviews tender documents, bid/qualifications request documents and drawings for proposal preparation.

Works with the Discipline Leads to produce man-hour estimates, fees and delivery schedules.

Resolves issues in any discussions with other End Markets and Regions as necessary to ensure that the RFP scope is addressed adequately and all costs are accurately considered.

Oversees the process of obtaining quotes from sub-consultants as required and leads negotiations of appropriate terms and conditions based on AECOM's standard contract and Risk committee requirements.

Monitors Salesforce entries for the business to ensure that the information entered is up to date and accurate.

Ensures that AECOM policies and procedures are followed and that all records are maintained.

Ensures that approvals are in place in line with the latest AECOM Delegations of Authority and all AECO governance processes are followed.

Verifies that all legal qualifications and the Middle East Risk Committee directives have been included in the final bid document before submission to the client.

Delivers within proposal deadlines.

Prepares presentations required for the Risk Committee.

Independently presents to the internal Risk committee for pursuits valued up to $50m.

Manages and mentors junior staff

Workplace Technology Associate, Jeddah, KSA

Position Purpose:

 The Workplace technology associate is responsible for managing:

The remote and in-field support for stores and HQ end-user’s environment, hardware renewal, replacement, and upgrades.

The onboarding of the new joiner, the offboarding of the leavers and the move

The procurement management: suppliers listing, indirect purchasing management as per the Sephora policy.

The continuous hardware stock availability and tracking.

 

 

 You will excel and enjoy this role if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

 

WPT technology associate – relational

Have a good relationship/interpersonal, rigorous, and service oriented,

Relationship management with the EME cyber security team,

Relationship management with external vendors,

Relationship management with EME EUX team.

 

WPT technology associate – organizational

Follow all relevant IT policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner, in line with LVMH group and Sephora global rules and policies,

Set up dashboards, metrics and measure the QoS of external partners,

Follow up the SLA/SLO and apply penalties when needed.

 

WPT technology associate – operational

Good tech knowledge of Microsoft OS and iOS, Microsoft GPO (scripting would be a Plus) to be able to support, review and synthesize technical issues for L3 teams,

Valuable experience with Device Management (tools like Workspace One, Ivanti. Or equivalent),

Network basics mastered (DNS, IP addressing, basic routing & switching investigation)

Analytical skills to troubleshoot incidents and to escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner.

Capability of synthetically report about incidents (concise and precise) to facilitate final resolution of central teams when required,

Solid knowledge of O365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Security, ITIL practices,

Knowledge on HW supply and expense management in accordance with the indirect purchasing policy,

Capacity on the negotiations with the vendors,

HW stock management/business continuity/shortage management process.

 

Significant knowledge of End-User remote, shops In-field and remote Support in an heterogenous environment (Apple and Windows):

Analyze, install, and configure new personal computer systems, including cables, printers, personal access, electronic mail, Microsoft processing, operating system, other appropriate software, and hardware.

Working on escalated Incidents from the IT Service Desk, using Workspace One and Ivanti, monitor and upgrade existing workstations.

Assist and instruct on the use of computer equipment, software, and manuals.

Understand internal/external customer technologies and problem resolution techniques.

Listen to symptom descriptions; analyze problems; respond effectively and provide constructive feedback to the end user on problem resolution.

Provide end users 1st level support for all applications.

Setup of and Support of all retail shops, including POS, in-store infrastructure, printers, barcode scanners, digital in store tools and basic application support

Work with the Technical Service Team for troubleshooting network and server related incidents

 

IT Asset Administration and Maintenance:

Perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment, their peripherals, and data backups,

Follow up on the daily performance of computer systems to verify correct operations and detect errors,

Configure, install, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software,

Recommend improvements or upgrades and prepare evaluations of software, hardware and troubleshoot problems,

Perform routine network start up and shutdown procedures and maintain control records,

Implement policies as set by Group IT to protect data, software, and hardware to local IT infrastructure,

Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job,

Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed.

Experience working in complex IT environments, and able to prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing context, with a good level of project management expertise,

Experience managing multiple vendors and projects simultaneously to deliver quality outcomes for internal stakeholders, across varied domains in KSA.

Have effective communication with various stakeholders at EME level, including IT and business,

Be “end-users" and "service quality" oriented,

Be comfortable with matrix organization
